I love the Bridge Tavern, probably my favourite pub in Newcastle! Next time you visit mate, check out these ones, which are right up your street: The Broad Chare (get a Scotch Egg) The Towan Wall The Forth Great selection of crafts and casks and good atmosphere in each. You were so close to the Broad Chare, it’s right next to the Head of Steam on the Quayside. Watching this made me homesick from Sydney, but thoroughly enjoyed it nonetheless 👍🏻

The best place for a Yorkshire town 😊 I live nearby Beverley in a village called Hutton Cranswick. I lived in Beverley for 18 years before moving to Hutton Cranswick. Fantastic market town 😊

There are loads of great pubs in Liverpool. But although I know wetherspoons are not everyones choice I must admit that I like trying the guest ales such as Titanic plum porter and it is even better sitting on the roof of the Captain Alexander in the summer.

The Midland pub is a iconic Liverpool pub clearly not being managed by the right people! 🫣🫣🫣 She,ll be back though soon 👍👍👍👍

The Shrewsbury 24 were a group.of trade unionists who were imprisoned on false charges in the 70s. One of them was Ricky Tomlinson ( Jim Royle) I think the Casa bar was where their campaign was based.

The White Hart, The Engineer, Red Lion, Monroe, The Vines, Queen of Hope Street, St Peter’s Tavern and The Green Man have all been done by the same company but some have more history than the others. The White Hart isn’t more than two years old, although it was The Keystone previously.

The White Hart is about 15 months old. They’ve done a great job of making it look like an old pub.

Think the Midlands pub was closed due to the landlords father’s death.

Im from salford and pubs in town are all shit these days prefered the pub crawl in salford then off in a taxi to the ritz night club round the corner from the Salisbury pub guys and off to grab a granny especially on a Thursday then a kebab taxi home and still have change fron £20 quid😅😅😅

Great video, I spend half my time in Warrington and there are some good pubs. Sadly 9 Gallon closed down in January 😔 Tavern is the best for sheer choice of ale 👌 Pity you missed out on Hop Emporium as they always have a good choice of ales 🍺

Loved your tour of my native Newcastle but I have a soft spot for Leeds. Cracking night out. Brudenell's is a great music venue. A pal's brother runs Dave's Pie's & Ale. Everything you want in a boozer. Agree about cold beers too. My favourite beers are Belgian Trappist Quads which are supposed to be drank at room temperature but I like mine refrigerated.

Already been to every pubs you've been to for years mate! It's a shame that you didn't make this video years ago, there were a few nice pubs around that are gone now, like Linthouse (5 minute walk from Ashmore) and The Shakespeare in Willenhall. Oh well, my advice, the best pub is The Vine! They change 5/6 types of ales every week!!! And The Dog and Partridge as well cuz my fav beer, Hobgoblin and Bank's mild and it got a HUGE beer garden! Lovely place to have a beer in the summer! 😁

we go there two or three times a week we are only twenty minuites away from this magical place all seasons make you realise beauty is on your doorstep i never ever grow tired of this magical gem they call trouser town thanks to the hippies mainly from colne burnley and around the surrounding areas in the seventies who made this once thriving town from deriliction to the quirkiest place on this earth luuuuuuuuuuv u hebden

I grew up in Beverley and left in 95 to head to londonistan Brings back a lot of memories though obviously most places have totally changed. Been in most of them apart from that cocktail bar and Junk

Enjoyed both videos, a nice reminder that my hometown has a lot of good pubs. You visited most of my favourites - hopefully you'll get the chance to come back and sweep up the others, a couple of which are on the Gateshead side of the river.

Newcastle is much smaller than I thought. Not a big city at all, but nicely compact.

Thanks for revisiting, and glad you enjoyed our pubs. It used to busy 7 nights a week in town, now it’s just peak times. Sunday used to be a treat. Loved the Deftones reference too!
