It’s honestly stupid. These “big suits” agreed to the idea of adding movies to streaming 30 days after release and then they’re gonna be the people pissed that they didn’t gain enough money from the box office and discontinue a franchise over something that was their fault. If they do this with Sonic, the backlash is going to be huge, and I mean huge, just like how we got paramount to redesign sonic.
I feel like the people at Paramount kinda knew that the company was gonna go bankrupt soon. So they tried to eek out the Knuckles TV show with Knuckles getting top billing so that people would go watch it, and they kind of just hoped that the Wade stuff would be enough to carry the show to decent enough reviews for the higher ups. Cause honestly, outside of the Sonic movies, Paramount has had literally NOTHING that is even remotely considered to be successful from a sales perspective. Aside from the movie the video OP is talking about. But yeah, seriously, I think this was kind of the whole point of the Knuckles TV show. Basically a bargaining chip for more money.
Kind of hope that this is not the case for Sonic Movie 3, because if this movie is going to be high quality (In a sense.) for a movie theater, then it should be exclusive to movie theaters, not streaming. (And when I mean exclusive to movie theaters , I mean up to a certain time, like the time for the said movie to come out on streaming or on Blu-Ray and DVD.
Hopefully the movie will be able to stay longer in theaters. But the problem is that some of the Sonic fans keep spamming about the sonic movie 3 trailer on almost every post that Paramount makes, whether its shorts or posts on youtube. But another idea that Paramount and Sega should do to distract us for the fourth movie should be to make a Movie Sonic animated series for Paramount+ or Nickelodeon.
Not gonna lie, I do have paramount plus for the knuckles show and most (not all) nickelodeon shows. But I would rather watch the sonic 3 movie in theaters, than on my account. Its just an fun experience going to the movies! Theres barely any movies in the theaters for me to watch, other than that 1 last month, which it was an re release for an 1 time only showing. I miss movie theaters, man! I don't wanna watch sonic 3 on paramount!
I don't think this will happen, Paramount's Sonic films have become very recognizable and very popular, In fact this is the only movie franchise giving them the big bucks. So I think their going to wait 2 months or 1 and a half months before putting it on Paramount Plus.
1 month is unacceptable and 2 months is also unacceptable. They need to do the right thing by keeping Sonic 3 in theaters for at least 3 months or else I'll boycott Paramount forever.
i really don't understand why this is an issue. for one, it's not a problem of paramount getting less money, they're the ones getting paid for paramount+. also, why should we care if a huge company like paramount gets less money? it's also not a problem of not being able to see it in theaters, as this doesn't affect that whatsoever. just because it's on paramount+, doesn't mean you're being stopped from seeing this in theaters. i just don't see the problem here.
If Paramount does Sonic dirty by not keeping Sonic 3 in theaters for at LEAST three months, I'm going to boycott Paramount forever and I really mean it. Their open support for israel (not worthy of a capital letter) is bad enough, but shit like this would just cross the line.
Honestly, I hope they let Sonic Movie 3 sit at the Theaters for about a Year or Two and then after that, they eventually put it on Paramount+ to avoid any Issues. That’s probably the only smartest route they can go for here
It also means if you WANT to see it on the big screen you got 30 days to do it. For me it’s more of a reason TO go out and see it. I was afraid you were gonna say it would go straight to streaming or at least stream at the same time as in theaters. Paramount seems to care about Sonic a lot actually because it’s one of their consistently successful theatrical IP. Most people agree that Paranount really values the series.
The Sonic movie team want to continue this universe through producing a Knuckles S2 2025, Shadow The Hedgehog 2026, Tails Miles 2027, and Blaze The Cat 2028 spin-off show. Honestly, I would be fine, if they skipped Knuckles S2... give me Keanu's Shadow any day of the week. Post found on Reddit.
Actually they care A TON about sonic just like we do. The first movie came out when sonic eas strugglong severely. They wanted to save the franchise qnd thsts what they did
i cant really watch movies in theaters hardly anymore really. I will watch sonic 3 when it comes to paramount plus. the only movie I want to see in theaters is mufasa the lion king and I will save money to get a ticket to see it.
I really hope this dosent happen because seeing a movie on the big screen is way better then like a TV or phone

This is EXACTLY what I've been thinking in my head. Sonic Adventure 2 is a very memorable story. So lets hope they dont screw this up.

I’m more concerned about if they’ll even focus on Sonic at all considering how the Knuckles series went
It will, the Knuckles series wasn't written by the movie crew, except for the 1st episode.
@@BlurroBlue Well that explains a lot
@@pokemonlover4208 Definitely.
They’re working with a fuller movie budget
Knuckles only had a show budget
@@Flamefrosty That still doesn’t excuse the fact that Knuckles hardly appears in his own show
I don’t want sonic the hedgehog three to go on streaming 30 days more like 50 days
It’s not gonna stop ppl from seeing it. Also I’m pretty sure the sonic movie franchise has been sold to another studio so this won’t affect it.
Which studio was it sold too?

They should at least wait like 2 or 3 months after the movie's theaterical release to release it digitally

Not too many people have paramount+

I think streaming is just awful as its just taking over everything. Not to mention that like every company is doing it at some stupid price.
I want the characters chao in the Sonic 3 movie!!!!!!
Ain’t no way they change the date to the 27 💀😭
Other than A Quiet Place Paramount also has SpongeBob, Paw Patrol, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Transformers.

Not sure if Sega would be happy with them doing that though.

I really am worried that there just gonna scrap Sonic in general
