A bit of correction with Muhammad Hassan: there was no mention of being Iranian by Hassan, although Shawn Daivari IS of Iranian stock and often swore in Farsi to generate heel heat. It was a more generalized Arab identity (even though Mark Copani, who played the Hassan character, was Italian) than being directed at any country. Still pretty controversial for its time anyway.
The graphics are a great addition. I think something else you could work on is your backdrop! Im not saying you have to have a big shelf full or wall mount that screams "I'm a Wrestling guy" but i think having a recognizable backdrop will help people to find you again. Cool stuff, Maven! You have a really thought provoking perspective.
More expensive too, given several folks have mentioned you end up buying Taker a bottle of jack, or the prosecutors some beers. And Andre could handle drinks pretty legendarily lol

The altercation was between bruiser Brody and a wrestler named El Invader (Jose Gonzalez) because apparently Brody was going to get a lot of power in Carlitos Colon’s (The dad of Carlito Caribbean Cool) wrestling company, the the invader is known to be problematic and pedantic.
Maven your videos are so good i rewatch them over and over until the next video drops. More entertaining than current wwe. That's an interesting point about self-policing. In any line of work it's better to be dragged by your colleagues than have it get back to the boss, and I'll usually take even a workplace bully over a workplace snitch.
Just here to say Maven's going to be working for WWE in a year. Could be hosting a podcast, could be a talk show, or something else, but I'm 100% sure all this charisma and knowhow is going to get noticed.
Thanks for giving us these peeks behind the curtains. Seeing the quality of the videos get better each time is awesome. Super happy you’re doing well, man.
The Bruiser Brody incident, at least as I know from the Dark Side of the ring episode, was basically Bruiser and the wrestler who was accused of stabbing him had really bad blood, and on top of that Bruiser had enough sway to be in the position of a promotion leader to some extent. So unless I am wrong, the idea is that it was a conspiracy to knock him off, both bc of the bad blood and also that Bruiser wouldn't take control, although take it with a grain of salt bc i might have misinterpreted the events.
Money was involved as well. Brody was either promised something he wasn’t given or something along those lines. I’ll never understand how that scumbag got away with this. He calls Brody into the shower to “discuss” things. He’s the only one in the shower with Brody and Brody gets stabbed. Somehow he gets away with this. Puerto Rico was the Wild West back then
Just discovered your channel today and I can't stop watching. Incredible stuff. You've got to do a video on the backstory and reactions to your entrance music because for fans that know it, it is widely considered one of the hidden gems of entrance themes.
I know you make it seem light hearted but from what others have said about it, the fact that JBL was a significant part of it, and you could BRIBE the judge or JBL with booze? I hate it. I hate bullies and it stinks of bully culture.

I hate the fact that you dislike HBK, but I absolutely love your RUclips content. Please keep them coming.
By all accounts HBK must have been a complete dick backstage back then.
@0:58 it was Jose Gonzalez, a.k.a. El Invader, who was, at the time, both a wrestler and a booker.
Been a life long wrestling fan and I never heard of Wrestlers Court.
Thanks for the peak behind the curtain 🙏🏻
good on you brother. it's good to see you here and now. best wishes on continued growth and success.
Maven is by far the most entertaining wrestling show going right now. I get excited every time I see a Maven video drop.
This is dead set one of the best RUclips channels going around, full stop. Massive ups
When I watched you more than 20 years ago, if someone had told me that we would be getting these super honest videos from you...well, my first question would have been, "What's RUclips!?"
The more I've learned over the years about WWE behind the scenes, the more I realize it was a lot like high school.
Maven...man. I love your channel and your content. I look forward to every vid you put out. Thank you!

Maven: "Wrestlers Court.."
Shows The Undertaker.
😂 lol
The graphics are a great addition. I think something else you could work on is your backdrop!
Im not saying you have to have a big shelf full or wall mount that screams "I'm a Wrestling guy" but i think having a recognizable backdrop will help people to find you again.
Cool stuff, Maven! You have a really thought provoking perspective.
What's worse than pissing off Taker? Pissing off the late, great Andre The Giant!😳
More expensive too, given several folks have mentioned you end up buying Taker a bottle of jack, or the prosecutors some beers. And Andre could handle drinks pretty legendarily lol
Or pissing off Haku
Mr Maven I love your videos such a down to earth refreshment to wrestling.Your number 1 accomplishment is that your mom raised an awesome human being.I wish all good things to you.
All rise in Wrestler's Court for the honorable Judge Maven. *Cue the iconic People's Court theme*. 😂
Just need me a trust Bailiff. 😂
Wrestling is a lot like Hip-Hop music on my end. So many behind the scenes ordeals that goes into making a song (wrestler). Keep grinding bro.
In my opinion your story is greater than the rocks because you were one of us just a regular guy with a passion for the business no connections making it to the mid card. Thats pretty impressive
Hope you had an awesome Thanksgiving Mav. Thanks the video !!
Was finally able to relax a bit, thanks for the well wishes. I hope yours was good too
This channel has low-key become my favourite one.
Thank you for sharing your vast knowledge of the business. 👌
I was never a fan of maven as a wrestler, but he puts a lot of time and effort in this channel. He gives a ton of insight in the wrestling industry. He does a great job.
Maven, I never followed your career because I stopped watching pro-wrestling for a long period of time (started up again), however, your videos are excellent and I regularly am entertained and informed by them. You’ve carved out a great niche for yourself here and I hope it proves fruitful for you financially. God bless. 🙏🏼
Hey Maven I have a video idea for you, Top 10 greatest backatage ribs. Would be fun to see the best ribs you saw or was even given.
👍🏽💡
I love how you describe the business and your experiences maven! Very well spoken and informative with your videos. Keep it up!!
That's an interesting point about self-policing. In any line of work it's better to be dragged by your colleagues than have it get back to the boss, and I'll usually take even a workplace bully over a workplace snitch.
I couldn’t agree more. Nothing worse in the workplace than the workplace snitch.
Just here to say Maven's going to be working for WWE in a year. Could be hosting a podcast, could be a talk show, or something else, but I'm 100% sure all this charisma and knowhow is going to get noticed.
Wrestler's Court might was a necessary evil but some wrestlers (Divas especially) took advantage of that to try and ruin Melina's life
Thanks for giving us these peeks behind the curtains. Seeing the quality of the videos get better each time is awesome. Super happy you’re doing well, man.
maven your videos go VERY well with THC
😂😂 haha… happy they fit one another. Enjoy brotha!
This is becoming my favorite wrestling podcast. I love the behind the scenes stories! Thank you!!!!
Undertaker as judge and APA as prosecution is great lol
I really appreciate videos like this. This is actually my first time even hearing that wrestlers’ court was a thing.
W sponsor by the way 🔥
Judge Taker? 😆 That would even work for him in the ring. This is a very interesting video.
man, this is what i actually want to hear from you and other wrestlers on YT, about their experience on wrestler's court.
Puerto Rico was the Wild West back then
@@Meatball2022no witnesses showed up to the trial and ol boy lied his way out of being convicted.
@@Meatball2022PR is still not safe these days!! Tourists gotta stay in their lane or they’ll find trouble out there.
Your commitment to the bit is amazing, and in my honest opinion, your theme is awesome to listen too.
maven finally got sponsered. Yes sir
Mave i appreciate your honesty about everything man that's why i follow you on here and i appreciate your time in WWE.
The APA becoming prosecutors for free liquor basically lol
Just discovered your channel today and I can't stop watching. Incredible stuff. You've got to do a video on the backstory and reactions to your entrance music because for fans that know it, it is widely considered one of the hidden gems of entrance themes.
I know you make it seem light hearted but from what others have said about it, the fact that JBL was a significant part of it, and you could BRIBE the judge or JBL with booze? I hate it. I hate bullies and it stinks of bully culture.
D Von get the Maven 😂😂
😂😂😂
HAHAHAAHAHAH!!! Well played!
You’re segues into your sponsor mention are so good I don’t skip it
Why would Hassan have heat with the other guys because of his gimmick? What’s he supposed to do when he has already been told what to do?
Maybe it clashed with their political views.
Bunch of babies, that's why
It was more because he hadn't been there that long and got a push over veterans who had been there longer than him.
@@cjaquilino None of them cared about that at all. If you did your research and checked out more interviews, you would know it was because they were jealous and wanted his gimmick because of the push he got and the heat he could generate.
Envy....
