Hi Maven, my dad died last July. We watched wrestling at the hospital and watched our last episode, him dying the day after. He was the epitome of a wrestling fan! He started watching wrestling ever since its inception. I started watching wrestling as a kid because of him. I only recently found your RUclips channel and honestly, he would have loved it! I've found your wrestling stories to be heartfelt, genuine, honest, informative, and entertaining. Thank you to you and to all the wrestlers in both divisions for making my dad smile throughout his life and for giving him and I something extra special to share as father and son. 🙏
My condolences for you dad passing. I starting watching wrestling since l was 10, back in 1987. My family couldn't afford cable so use to read the wrestling magazines at gas station to catch up or wait for every first Sat of the month to watch WWE main event in NBC.

The 24/7 Hardcore Defense was one of my favorite gimmicks as a kid. I'm sure it wasn't always easy to set up those spots but it always was fun to watch.
I loved those segments. I remember there was one where they were at an indoor playground and crash holly zipped towards someone on a swing and performed a frankensteiner. Another time they were near a large body of water at night and it ended with someone being thrown into the water

Such an awesome moment to share the ring with someone like Dustin. I am so happy to see his half-brother Cody kicking ass in this years Wrestlemania. I just got down with night 1 and I could be wrong, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see Dustin interfere in Cody’s match tomorrow. I also expect The Rock is gonna somehow put Cody over big time. It’s crazy because growing up during the attitude and ruthless aggression era I feel like I saw the best years in wwe history but I still click on a Maven video regardless of what the topic is as opposed to the superstars like Taker, Cold stone and all those guys where I’ll just watch like less than half of their videos. Something about hearing it from someone like Maven which I feel is the more common wwe wrestlers experience is refreshing.

I listen to them all. Maven has made a thing of giving the perspective of an regular person getting to live the life of of a pto wretler. Thats what makes him interesting to us. Its like pulling the curtain back and explaining it all. But many of the legends have their stories from when they were brraking into the business. Theyre very good just not as relatable.

I've been out of wrestling since WCW and then came across one of your shorts randomly. Now I've been diving into old videos and now going to watch wrestlemania, which I've not seen since I was a kid. It's so wild how a little clip brings up an old passion.
I remember tough enough and i remember u winning. Im 33, kinda stopped watching wwe not too long after the attitude era ended. I recently got reacquainted with and started watching wwe again and i love your content bro. You're a genuine person as far as i can tell and a truly talented athlete as well as showman, as seen by the success your channel has seen. Many blessings to you and thank you for the content.

Everything I have ever heard about the Rhodes family impresses me. I grew up watching Dusty, I remember the infamous Hollywood Backlot Brawl between Dustin and Piper, and seeing Dusty's son Cody just have his Wrestlemania moment winning the top championship was just so poetic and satisfying

I went on cagematch to look this up, there was this much level of detail for a 3 minute and 16 second match... that's crazy.

As a person who as a kid followed Maven from Tough Enough Throughout his entire WWE wrestling career, I'm glad to Say that I followed him when he was just beginning here on RUclips. Everything I have ever heard about the Rhodes family impresses me. I grew up watching Dusty, I remember the infamous Hollywood Backlot Brawl between Dustin and Piper, and seeing Dusty's son Cody just have his Wrestlemania moment winning the top championship was just so poetic and satisfying
