Just love Attilas vocals. I think he was classicaly trained aswell. They have a lot of great songs. I discovered them myself just a year ago. By the way they don't have a bass player, at live shows the bassline comes from "tapes"
Powerwolf is best consumed live, especially in Germany. Check out for yourself the 2 vids of the Wacken festival. They got 3 songs each and you‘ll know what I mean 😉 No need to react, those will get blocked.
It's a pity to experience Powerwolf without visuals. "Demons are a girl's best friend" has a great video and is a cool song. They just released the video of "Fire and Forgive" from of their online performance "Monumental Mass": Great live stuff and pyro like straight from hell. Talking about live perfomances of Powerwolf: A good example for showmanship of a keyboarder. And of the band in general as well.

There are also live performance videos if you want to see how they play live. However, be warned. They seem to be using a prerecorded "bass" instead of an actual bass player (sacrilege!).
If you watch some live video of them , don't try to find the bassist. He's so ugly that he plays down the stage to avoid scaring the audience. True words from the band.
