That GoPro footage has to be the best images i've seen at Teahupo'o, we've all seen the view from the boats a million times but the view from the waves is amazing - for us who are stuck at work in a part of the world with no waves.

So Koa, Nathan and several other top surfers in the world go to Tahiti. They all make an INSANE amount of money and they have HUGE sponsors. Yet their cheap Sponsors (that are worth BILLIONS) put them in dorm rooms sleeping 6 to a room? You guys are superstars and should be demanding better accommodations Koa! AWESOME video again either way! :) I am going to make a prediction that Koa did NOT make the "preview" wave at the end. The sunset was epic and the waves were getting HUGE!

They went to Tahiti in 2011 coz the swell was good, that same year is referred to by Australians as the 2011 floods coz there was flooding that fucked everything up.
