Though it is fun to watch others attempt airs. I'm just too old and brittle these days for such "tom foolery". I suggest yellow for your next flame job. Pura Vida!
@Fran Ra yeah i mean thats cool nothing wrong with that. I havent even tried airs myself really. But if I did try them it wouldnt have to do with what people in the lineup think. As long as you are progressing and doing what you want on your wave, and its not putting people in danger, hell with what they think

im used to trying airs in like 2 foot surf. my tip is to just compress as low as possible on the bottom turn, if your in small surf kind of pop like your doing an ollie on a skateboard, and when you are in the air keep your knees bent, and don't straighten your legs at the landing, keep them bent for balance.
Perspective: originally from the UK, but now living in Sweden due to different life-choices. Took up snowboarding as its as close to surfing as I can get. But my passion is surfing. For many years I refused to watch anything surf related because it made me quite depressed. But thanks to you, Nate Jamie and Ben Gravy I can enjoy watching your antics. You all remind me of the stoke of surfing. And I have great respect for you guys who have found a way to do what you love on a daily basis through RUclips and sharing your journey. So my tip to you is when trying to make that air and getting a little frustrated, remember the land locked surfers who are impressed (and a bit jealous) that you get to surf all year long. I get a three week trip to Bali and a 5 day trip to the mountains! Thanks for the stoke and enjoy your surfing 😉
I think I have seen all of the This Is Livin videos and never noticed Koa didn't do airs! His surfing is so smooth and stylish he really doesn't need to add them!
Dude, flames with a 70's color palette gradient pleeeeeeze!!!! You know...earth brown, beige, burnt orange, cream, sky dream blue, skin pink, etc. Also a complimentary full board color besides white would send it fully...(chocolate for example). Would be rad and more multi-dimensional. Big fan homie!

Yesss !!! I love that you’re learning air jumps. Maybe try doing air like you’re hitting the little jumps in random spots on the ski slopes and you do a 180...look over your shoulder as much as possible as you look where you’re going...
Don't know if this helps but it helps me. When you squat down to grab something from a bottom shelf myself and a lot of people have a heel or both heels up and are on their toes. But when you're surfing it helps to always be flat footed. So I've started trying to stay flat footed when squatting all the way down. At first I could only go a bit down but I'm getting better
Checking the poly distribution specs with the tap method is pure genius, dunno why I've never thought of that. You almost have full rotation on that backwards loop d loop. Keep at it bro!
