I believe this theory is true. Notice how all the other archons gnosis arent glowing? Now check back into Venti's gnosis, which is glowing a faint green light. Could it be that Venti already knew Signora was after him, thus he created a fake gnosis just in time, also explaining why he didn't teleport away?

i like the theory actually gave the dvalin the anemo throne in thend of mondstat quest. the one signora got was nothing but an empty shell sorta how nuevi gave focalors. having it will only do no good. or it could fake just like how he fake the holy lyre could be a foreshadowing.

Venti didn't want to take a counter-force just because he wanted to be in line with the definition of freedom. he doesn't use his Gnosis to rule his people anyway. He also doesn't want to be like the old tyrant of Monstad, so he's lazy to rule, and he usually just drinks and improvises. just the thing that suits the archon of the Wind.

In my opinion, the lumine dark timeline actually happened. When it came time for Ventis punishment, he rewinded time to the point of when Aether died, and saved him, creating an alternate timeline. Which is why, one of the first times they meet he says, “hello traveler! Nice meeting you again!” He’s been orchestrating everything for centuries.
There are 2 reasons venti didnt fight back in the archon quest 1.Signora is a modstadt citezin and he wouldn't dare to hurt his people 2.He knew it was his fault her lover died in the war so he knew he was in the wrong

I hope we aren't forgetting that he and Zhongli are the only surviving Archons who fought the Archon War.. Also, he had challenged Signora for a fight despite knowing she's a strong Harbinger.. He could have killed her in that fight itself.. Dvalin is also the only Dragon who works with and for a God. The others are Sovereigns (the ones we know of.. I believe he's afraid of his true potential.

And as we know, Venti has one of the biggest religions among Teyvat. Meanig lots of people believe in him. That all combined and the fact that he and Zhongli are the only ones from the original archon war deffinetly makes him amog the strongest Gods. He just decided, for some rason, not to tell us why he acts as a weak archon.
