Another showcase of Parry Materia and how much it buff's Aerith's dodge.
I don't see this fight often for Aerith solo players what with the conundrum of how to handle the whole party assembling in phases, but I'm glad to see someone doing it anyway. I mean, beating Sephiroth's phase 1 isn't where the true skill shines anyway. Loved every bit of this!
I need to start using Parry as Aerith. I always only equip it for Tifa. Haven't seen it with Barret yet. With Cloud it felt a little slow and I didn't like it.

Cloud’s parry isn’t quite as fast as Tifa or Aerith’s but it keeps Cloud in Punisher mode when used. Just wanted to throw that out.

As someone who played Aerith A LOT in Remake, I gave up hope a while ago on thinking I could use her solo or in the primary role for this fight. Seeing this was so exciting, good work 😭

The reason why Aerith was killed is to balance the game. She is an over power character
And he had to gank her from behind, otherwise she would have creamed him and resumed summoning holy
Makes sense. She was the healer of the group so when she was died, you were basically left on your own. You had to think of other ways to heal yourself
Also because she was the only one who could stop Sephiroth as well.

Plot Twist: in the remake Aerith kills Sephiroth, Cloud falls inside the water and Aerith's materia takes Sephiroth in its arms and make him sink.

nice run! I've been super busy lately, but both you and Avtenem have done this and it looks like a lot of fun to try. when I get time I'm going to do a Barret solo range on top secrets, but im definitely going to play this challenge as well. again, great stuff!

Soul Drain damage scales off the Magic Attack stat. You can see it doing around 600 damage@@johnlombardo41
