I'm speculating that Springfield doesn't want to call it a "2011" because Staccato (who basically invented the category) stamps their bags with "2011", which is super clever, since they probably can't trademark the numerals.
My 5in prodigy is a Dumpster fire. If you want one just wait... These reviewers definitely got hand picked samples. I shot 400 rounds today and got 90 failure to feeds. I'm not giving up on this platform but as of now it's pretty shit.
@@connor1982 that gives me hope! Because I really like the gun. Sending it back to SA so I'm sure they will get me all fixed up. Do you have the 5 or the 4.25?
great video. one question the barrel tip is it normal to look like a dull knife un even circle , i have seen other videos that seem to show the same. looks dented or chipped.
The 4.25” model should have come with a suppressor ready barrel instead IMHO. Agency Arms plate good, but I’ll stick with Trijicon or Aimpoint for optics.
Yall find the dumbest things to say when yall really don't like something smh if u like aos just get a plate that fits those optics simple smh he listed the plate number in the pinned section at the top of the section which he got of the web
You need to take red dot training! (Bring the firearm a lot closer to your chin! This will make it significantly easier to see and acquire the red dot faster as you PUNCH-OUT toward your target, rather than bringing the firearm toward your eyes in a 45 degree angle.) I can't tell, due to you wearing sunglasses, but make sure you have BOTH eyes open when utilizing a red dot.

Springfield 1911's have been a safe sure bet for decades in my experience, never shot an inaccurate one.

2011 is trademarked
@@jvz1448 Makes sense. I tried to look last nite but the uspto website brought up a lot of entries and I didn't care enough to look through them.
Or perhaps it is a 1911 that is double stacked.
@@daviddalton8996 double stacked 1911 yes, just can’t call it 2011

Fully comprehensive review as we have come to appreciate more from your channel.
Certainly a competitive choice at a more customer friendly version.
Mines been butter smooth! Thanks for the video.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure the shorter model is 4.25, not 4.5
That is correct

Thanks for the honesty. What ammo were you running?
I think the QC department is what's slacking for sure. I only have had 2 bad feeds in 1400 rounds and I'm extremely satisfied
@@tri3pleagent 6 different brands all factory loaded. Surprisingly Winchester white box performed the best

When will Sig make one???
Hopefully soon!
Is it just me or does it seem like it has a very weak ejection pattern? Looks sweet anyway!
A red dot can slow down ejection.
Looks mean!!!
We have them at my job now.
Wow! Dean looks awesome in these videos! Great shooting, great gun!

i feel bad for california
Miss Allen
Seems very similar to a Staccato P
Good video though
I have as much interest in a 9mm 1911, as I do in a semiautomatic AK-47!. It just doesn't stir up enuff value for me..
Gun simps, smh

LMAO... Not Even Close. They are a Failure To Feed Nightmare so far! 🤣
If u got a running one it can b I train so ik mine is I put time into training and not just thinking price of a name brand will magically get me to it

lift some real weights and your hands will grow, get you a .45 and then talk about some pinch....
The pinch had nothing to do with recoil.
the fact that you think.45 has any recoil is comical 😂
