Do everything you can but if they really want in they are going to get in. I recently saw a construction site enclosed trailer which had this type of device on it. The thieves took a crow bar to the bottom of the side door and pried a section out wide enough so they could slip in and pass loot out. Another consideration with even more determined criminals is they simply cut themselves an entrance out. You could rig the inside with some shrilling high powered battery alarm which may scare off would be criminals. If that doesn't do it the only other option is boobytrap the entire unit to explode. Might lose your tools and your freedom, as you will surely go to prison, but at least the bad guys won't get your tools. :)
I have a single door on the back of my trailer. Locked on the left side. So how do you do the single doors on the back and the right side of my Cargo Craft?
Hi Mark. As long as your hinges are on the RH side, the regular Container Modification World lock box should work for you. All cargo trailers are a bit different so it sometimes takes a bit more problem solving/customization. I have a fold down ramp style door on my snowmobile trailer and was able to install it on the left side. I had to notch some of the aluminum to clear the receiver. If you send me some pictures of your trailer (inside and out) to mods@thecontainerguy.ca, I can let you know if I think it'll work.
My work has a shed with a similar type steel box over the lock. Sawzall with metal blade and they cut through it.
Have you sent it to Lockpickinglawyer to get it tested?

they cut the hinges
Then put another one on the inside (hinge side). I have one on each side of my fold down snowmobile trailer ramp. Works awesome.
