Avenged Sevenfold - Exist [Music Video]

- Thanks to National Geographic for this awesome video “Earth (Making of a Planet)”. I was able to edit a hour long video into a 15 minute Avenged Sevenfold song called “Exist” from their new album “The Stage”. This song was based on The Big Bang, so I used it for the creation of Earth. Hope you enjoy it!!

I feel the song was more based on the viewpoint on the entire universe, not just the earth.

What I love about A7X is that they explore many new and interesting themes in their music rather then keeping to just one constant theme that is present in most music these days- sex, drugs and breakups. Each of their albums express a new theme, particularly from their self titled to present album. In Nightmare we truly feel the pain they went through after losing their best friend and drummer Jimmy Sullivan, and The Stage- holy shit it has to be one of their best. Not many musicians in modern days would strive to explore the theme of science within their music, but A7X did. How this band has evolved really blows my mind. Exist has to be one of their number one songs- it has to be.
Avenged Sevenfold NEEDS to win that grammy. They have to. I believe in A7X xx

This song doesn't have enough lyrics to warrant a lyric video, it's mostly instrumental.
It has. But 80% of it is just instrumental. Even so, I don't think it's impossible to make a lyric video out of this. Especially with the song's concept. However, I think we would have already seen it if they were planning to make it.

This is one of those videos that humble me in an existential way. Many of us claim that humanity is a mistake and irredeemable, and that we cause too much chaos in this world to do any good.
However, this video proves something different. Chaos, randomness, and wild events are what created and shaped this world. Earth was built, destroyed, and rebuilt naturally until it became a habitable and healthy planet. It is only natural that we as a product of this world would do the same. We will continue to make mistakes and rebuild, rinse and repeat, until we finally get it right. Once that happens, we will be ready to venture out beyond our rock. Not as one single race, nation, or culture, but as an entire species of individuals.
Of course, that won't be the end of it. We will continue to make mistakes, figure things out eventually, and then go on until again we get it right. It's a perpetual cycle of creation, and whether it is divine will or simply the nature of all things, we cannot deny that it exists.

I'm not going to lie I was very skeptical when I saw a video put out by someone other than the band, but this video was incredible and definitely does the song justice. Very fitting images that are just as thought provoking as the song itself. Awesome video!

I must say... you did an amazing job with this. It kind of reminds me of "Dark Side of The Moon" over "The Wizard of Oz", but much better! I feel like this song is so underrated. This song is amazing, definately my favorite song of A7X. I really hope that they keep up this kind of music making. I just discovered this video yesterday and I've rewatched it at least 6 times since then. It's simply amazing. And I ordered this album right after seeing it.
While this song "Exist" is amazing in several ways, Tuomas Holopainen's (Nightwish) "The Greatest Show On Earth" is more like an opera. Different styles of metal music, but I really like both.
