- FIRST ICE MINNESOTA - We Got on Them! Ft NDYAKANGLER
Found a safe 3-4 + of ice in west central Minnesota and took a bucket of sucker minnows out for a swim with @ndyakangler Ice Fishing early pike and bass in Minnesota has been our target the last couple of years and the action is always hot. Early first ice always go slow and check the condtions with a spud bar, stay safe and catch some fish!

Love watching both angles from y’all. Good fishing. Good to see you two fishing again!
Thanks, I'll have to watch Matt's tomorrow in the shop, hope to get out Monday again with him
@@JaggedToothTackle fantastic. Looking forward to it. It’s always cool watching you guys.
Watching from Rochester MN, nice video. What a killer pike spot.
Thanks, was out there again and pulled some bigger bass and about a 10lb pike
heck yeah jagged tooth is back! can't wait to see what you can get on this season brother!
Watching you and Matt spar and joke 🥳 is great content. The fishing's not bad either!!
Nice !
May I check the length and power action of the 13fishing archangel rod? Looks good for walleyes with spoons
That real is reversible
Do you think your tackle is too heavy in spring to fall? I watch most of your videos and greatly enjoy them. However, it seems like the big fish you catch like pike never fight for more than 20 seconds before they are landed. It seems like the ice fishing is much more fun because the tackle is so light.
A lot of it has to do with depth/distance/lures. You're not going to pull most pike in from 30 yards away out of summer weeds and hard runs. We're basically sitting 10 feet on top of them straight up but we are running medium rods with braid, most 4lb mono wouldn't last on the pike
Man i would never stick my hand into water that close to a pikes mouth. Lol.
Where is this in mn? Me and a buddy are going to try to find ice in Central mn
Smaller lake Detroit Lakes area. Good luck!
@@JaggedToothTackle thanks 👍
You got a video review on that archangel rod??
Sorry I don't, not sure they make them anymore but I would highly recommend getting one if you can find one. Hands down my favorite ice rod!
@JaggedToothTackle I work for rapala and recently bought all 3 UL,ML,M archangel rods, but haven't seen much reviews on them
I need a fishing buddy anyone around Wadena Minnesota?
