Tuning in from Asheville, NC in the flood zone . Today , I literally put on “my cleanest dirty shirt” and went to work on my flooded house for the eight day in a row! But tonight I am watching this video at my own house with power back on and hopes of water soon. This song made me cry. Music touches the soul and this lesson has given me some beauty that was badly needed. Thank you Angela ❤
God Bless you guys. I'm down here in Florida waiting on Hurricane Milton. Looks like it is going to get rough but not as bad as you guys with all the flooding.
Stay safe. It is an absolute pleasure doing these lessons. It warms my heart that this lesson has brought you some joy during this very difficult time. Music is healing =)
Angela your the best! I was tearing up right along with you. My father flew Huey's with Kris in the army back in the 60's. I was just a little boy but I do remember him and his wife coming over for dinner once in a while. I live in Winnsboro SC and my favorite song is of course "Sunday mornin' comin' down". Thank you so much for what you do!!!
Hi from the uk. Favorite Kris’s song, boy that’s a hard one, maybe this one or” for the good times” depending on my mood , so many great song., lovely video, thank you for taking the time to. I don’t play any instruments but appreciate the dedication needed to learn one.
Wonderfully done sister. Love the poetry of Lovin’ Her Was Easier and learning here in Hartford, Sebastian County Arkansas home of The Hartford Music co.
The cover version that holds my heart is Gretchen Wilson on the compilation album "The Pilgrim" - it definitely holds a close place in my heart - to me one of the best other than the master story teller himself. Thank you for this! Really eappreciate all your videos!
From the Jersey Shore, thanks for doing this one Angela! Favorite Kris song, too many that are so awesome, but this ranks very near or at the top. The lyrics are killer and so poignant. Again, thank you !!
Eric from Casper, WY. was first introduced to this song (the Johnny Cash recording) when I was in middle school, I fell in love with 50's-90's country (Glen Campbell, Jennings, Merle....) I truly acknowledged Kris after watching the Ken Burns Country Music documentary (highly recommend). Can't decide on my #1, Top 3 songs written by him "Loving Her Was Easier", "Me and Bobby MCgee", and of course this one. Keep em comin', i'll have to check out the patreon. Right now working on lessons through Pickup Music and I really like your song lessons for supplementation. Thank You!
Are you a figment of my imagination, or am I one of yours??? Watch closely now, are you watching me now… From memory. That was my introduction to Mr. Kristofferson. That was a couple years ago. 😉
