Good Video. I've got Direct TV with local channels and after wrestling with the stock power inserter that came with my King Quest Pro 4800 for a week at home in my driveway, I purchased the King Controller UC1000 hooked it up and I had Sat 101 & Sat 119 within 1 minute and had all my Direct TV channels plus my local channels. Anybody looking to buy any King Quest for Direct TV, unless you like to cuss a lot, also buy the King Controller UC1000 as it will keep your blood pressure down by 500% as the stock power inserter sucks. NOTE: when you buy the King Controller UC1000 keep in mind that it uses the 12v adapter from the stock power inserter so don't through it away! Also, with the King Quest Pro 4800 combined with the King Controller UC1000 your 4800 can be programmed to receive Direct TV, Dish standard and Dish high definition as well as Canadian Bell Sat TV.
Hey Lou - love this video! Your channel is one of my "go to" channels when I have a question or want to see reviews on products or just learn something new. Looks like the DISH system is great for RVers and the fact they have an entire RV program is awesome. Thanks for another informative video and oh - by the way - loved the bloopers at the end. Kind of reminded me of me when I am trying to video - haha.
Excellent step by step instructions. Thanks so much for taking the time to make this video Lou. My wife and I are picking up our new 5th wheel next month, and this will be one of the first upgrades that I plan on making. We have DISH at home and like it, so I know after watching this, what will be on the roof of our new rig. Again, thank you. Steve & Karen, Mesa Az. PS- You have a new follower on RUclips and who knows, our paths may cross out on the road.....
Thank you so much Steve. Since you're a Dish customer already you only pay for an extra box for the RV when you call dishformyRV. I am very happy with this setup in the RV and have no complaints. Good luck with your new RV and thank you for taking time to comment.
@@RVHabit No problem, thank you for taking the time to make this! We're glad you are enjoying our products. I sent you a message on FB as well, it will be from a Dan Anderson(Me), we'd like you get a KING Falcon if you'd be interested.
I'm going with your recommendation. I have used King and Dish on my older motorhomes and I believe Dish is the service that broadcasts in HDTV. Bought a TT and I can't even scan for over the air channels in Atlanta. PPL Parts Superstore is where I bought it reconditioned at half the retail price. Never a problem. Subscription was about $78 per month.
Hi Bob, yes you have to tell the unit what state you are in for it to automatically fnd the satellites. It is still working great and the Dish service has been perfect for RV use.
Thanks for this video. Doing the same thing for my 2019 View RV. I have the Wally set up and now just have to mount the Tailgate Pro with the quick connect roof mount. Ready to go but just need to figure the length of screws I should use.
Hi! I just ordered the same setup you demonstrated in this video, except for the roof mount and bought the tripod instead. Ordered a 50 foot coax cable as well. Wish me luck getting this system operational!! 😀
Nice install video, thanks for sharing. That's the same setup I'm planning to buy. I've had dishnetwork for 20yrs, always worked great. The King antenna will be an upgrade for me.
Hi Tom, this setup has worked great for me. I have been very pleased with both my King OmniGo antenna for over the air channels and my King satellite antenna for the Dish network. That is an excellent question that I didn't address in the video. 480p is the default. I changed it to 1080p. The Tailgater Pro with Dish Network supports full HD.
Just know and remember that if you have a duel Satellite Dish system. That say if while watching two TV's if one station pulls from a different Satellite like 110 to 119 both will go to that channel. If you want to independently watch both TV's that broadcast's on say 110 & 119 you must install two Satellite Dishes to do so. That's why a dish on the ground has two or three receiver's. Also take in thought that many RV parks have tree's, and if roof mounted may not work well if signal is blocked by tree's. One reason I have also a TravlFi RV internet service & a King OTA Antenna. Dish works great without obstructions.
Absolutely correct except you can also get the larger crank-up satellite dishes that are available to pull from different satellites simultaneously. And yes I also have a King OTA and a Roku stick. Thanks for watching.

Each roof is different, that is why mounting screws are not included. If you are unsure what fastener to use contact the dealer or manufacturer for guidance. I used one inch course thread screws.

Very informative video, Lou! We like the idea of the antenna being portable and mounted. Thumbs Up! Loved the ending. Our neighbor has the loudest lawn equipment and it seems every time we are making a video, it is time to mow their lawn! LOL
Thanks Guys. Ever since I started making videos I notice every little background noise now. Funny I never really paid much attention to them before lol. Stay Safe.
Nice video. Researched it to death! So I got the same package. Now. Only hooked up to my “kitchen” TV in my Class C. Winnebago view. Now. To get it to my “bedroom” and outside satellite hookup. Any videos on running to the rear of the RV ? Thanks Lou!
I actually connected the wally via RCA Compact RF Modulator not HDMI. This allowed the wally signal to be outputed to a single coax cable. From there I used an A/B switch. Input A for the Wally and Input B for the over the air antenna. The output coax from the A/B switch connects to the 'Antenna In' port on the back of the antenna power booster plate. Connecting it to the power booster plate distributes the signal to all TVs in the coach. I used the A/B switch just in case I ever wanted to use the over the air antenna. Just turn my TV on, select TV as the source and tune to channel 3. The Wally signal is now going to all 3 TVs. I hope that made sense. Probably sounds like gibberish since you can't see it.
RV Habit thank you so much. Yes. Makes some sense. I will get an AB switch as well. The antenna gets good coverage of the local channels were we tailgate. But some key football games are on ESPN. Etc. Please keep the videos coming. I can relate with my View.
Question - I have 3 TVs. How can I set it up to where I can watch different channels on each TV?? I also have a TV on the side of my TV. Wonder how I get DISH on my outside TV???
The King Tailgator only allows two connections. You would need two separate Wally receivers, one for each TV. However you can wire multiple TVs to one Wally and watch same channel
So my question. How and where did you plug in into your RV. Our Montana has one outside Sat connection in the lower storage compartment and we have 2 TVs. One in the back bedroom. Obviously we’ll need a second receiver. But will we have to run a line all the way throughout the camper to connect it to the 2nd receiver?
Hi Brian, Not knowing exactly how your RV is wired but the line goes from the satellite dish to a receiver then to the TV. Usually the connection provided in the RV goes to another connection where you would connect the receiver box, ie Wally. You can run a line directly to the receiver from the satellite if that's easier. It sounds like they put it in the lower storage compartment for use with a portable dish and tripod. Check with the RV manufacturer there may also be a connection on the roof which would prevent you from having to run any wires. Good luck.
Can two different tv's be watching two different channels at the same time with two different receivers? Looking to use this in a tailgate setup but where we have two TV's watching different channels on two different boxes. Assume they can as long as the channels are on the same sat? But some reviews are claiming they can't.
I only use one box but it is my understanding as you describe, with two boxes you can watch different channels provided they share same sat. The sat antenna has two ports so a separate wire goes to each box.
King works ok on main but the secondary only gets one station and by switching coax at the dome the issue switches to the other tv I think there is an issue with the dome antenna
Great video, thanks for posting.. Just ordered the tailgater 4. I understand the dish gets it's power through the coax cable ? Does that mean i have to use the supplied cable between the wally and dish , or can i run it through the cable hook up on the outside of the rv? Thanks.
If you have a satellite hookup outside you can use that but if you have only cable hookup that typically will not work. Cable hookups commonly use splitters in the line which will not work with satellite. The line needs to go from the satellite dish to the satellite receiver directly with no splitters. Good luck, mine has worked flawlessly.
So you put some screws into your roof. Since We have the same roof (3051s), I am worried about drilling holes into the fiberglass roof. Have you had any problems with doing that? I want to put solar on the roof and thinking about using VHB tape. Thanks
I don't worry too much about screws since the roof is loaded with holes like vents, ac, TV antenna, etc. That is what Dicor is for. As for VHB tape, I am a fan. Works very well in some applications in lieu of screws. I also use Eternabond tape which is as strong as it gets. Watch my cell booster install video and see how I mounted the antenna on the roof using only Eternabond tape. Holds amazingly.
That is a wifi reception antenna. I no longer use that antenna as I switched to the King Falcon WiFi reception antenna. I had the antenna mounted to the air vent cover with two clips.
Hi Jim, I used square tip course thread stainless steel screws to attach the mount. I always use EternaBond tape also. I think the EternaBond holds better than screws. Thanks for watching!
No not at all. It does not matter which direction the RV is parked. The satellite dish will search 360 degrees towards the southern sky to lock onto the satellites
Hi again. Did u get the "western & eastern" option on the tailgater? I noticed u chose new jersey in the set up. Im actually in cali, so i would be western, which is an option and almost 100 bucks cheaper currently, but don't want to find myself traveling outside of the "range" somehow and out of luck...
I believe my unit does both arcs. Just choosing a western arc is cheaper and was not an option when I purchased mine. I have not tried my unit on the Westcoast yet. If I had to do it over and purchase today I would still go with the model that does both the eastern and western arcs.
Hi Kenora, the King antenna should have two in dependant connections. A separate wire goes from the antenna to each Wally. The only restriction is the wally can only receive the particular satellite channels that the first Wally is connected to
I ran coax from satellite to satellite prep on roof then coax from prep wall-plate inside to receiver. If My RV did not have satellite prep the coax goes directly from the satellite to the receiver then HDMI or RCA jacks to the TV.
Hi Lou! I was wondering about the Wally WiFi USB. The description on Amazon states "Allows wireless internet connectivity for Dish Network." Does this USB provide an internet hot spot to give you internet for your computer or cell phone?
Hi, No this is not a hotspot. You can plug the Wally into an WiFi ethernet port so you can view Netflix on the Wally and also get updates etc. The USB WiFi only lets the Wally receive Internet from a WiFi source without any cables.
Hi, no unfortunately there is no discount I am not affiliated with Dish or King. However if the best price you can find is Amazon then using my link will pay me a small finders fee for the sale. Definitely check dish for outdoors website they run specials all the time. Good luck and I highly recommend the removable mount for the satellite tailgater.
I pick up my Sunseeker 2800QS in 2 weeks and have you following your channel closely quick question is the satellite hooked up to main TV only or is there a cable to the BR TV also thanks Don
Hi Don, the prewire HDMI in my RV goes only to the main TV. There are several options to also broadcast to the rear bedroom TV. You can purchase a wireless HDMI transmitter which I have heard many people do. You can also purchase an rf modulator for about 10 bucks which will convert the rca Jack's on the wally to rg6 rf cable connection. From there you can just tap into the rear TV connection at the booster plate. Using an rf modulator will only transmit in standard definition. The wireless HDMI will transmit in high definition. Good luck.
RV Habit thanks for the reply I will probably go the wireless HDMI route as I than can use it on the outside tv also when I add it. I have a 500.00 worth of stuff sitting in my Amazon account waiting to pick up the Sunseeker. Trading in my Class A Thor Windsport DW will be more comfortable in the C. Just got back from a 9 week adventure and went right to dealer when we got him.
Hi, i have a question i am sure you can answer, is the King Unit with the Mounting Bracket taller or below the top height of your AC Unit on the roof? Thanks in advance ... Great Video also.
Dang..... sure wish I had that kind of luck. Three hours of trying to get my new King Pro set up and no luck. Moved the antenna to several spots around my RV and still I get a "no switch" failure and always at the 6 minute remaining mark. Weather is cloudy with light rain at times. 😣😢😭
I don't enough about satellite to help you troubleshoot. I would call Dish for My RV and see if they have any solutions. I have done the procedure in the video dozens of times with each new location I go and each time it boots right up. Good luck hopefully it gets figured out.
I have a second TV but only use one at a time so I only have one Wally box. There is a second port on the satellite dish to connect a second Wally to a second TV. Even with two Wally boxes the Satellite can only lock on one of three satellites at a time. Meaning the second TV is limited to the channels on the satellite the first TV is on.
@@RVHabit thanks for the quick reply. We normally use the two tv’s at night when we have the grandkids so they can watch what they want in the front and we can watch what we want in the bedroom. Loved your video. Followed it and had no issues with the antenna install.
You can get a flat piece of coax that can fit in windows and still shut. I think I will run a second cable from the second satellite port through the emergence window exit in my BR and re-latch it and hook up the Wally from there. Thanks
The setup is done when you connect power and is restarted if you disconnect power and reconnect power. BUT.... it does it automatically just turn on the receiver and it does the rest. Your watching TV in five minutes.
Hello again, okay I just order all of my setups and thank you for your video so when I get it since my 5th wheel is prep for satellite, I run the 50' coax cable from the dome to the satellite input to my 5th wheel, which I have in my storage compartment. Now, do I have to get another coax cable to run from the inside wall behind my tv to the receiver, along with the HDMI cable from the receiver to the tv? So I would need a short coax cable to run from the wall to the receiver also? I hope I explained myself in a way that you can understand what I'm talking about and thanks again.
If your rig is prepped connect the satellite antenna to. The exterior input. Now near your TV should be a cable connection that comes from outside. You connect a small cable from that connection to the wally. Then use an HDMI from the wally to the tv. This is only applicable providing your rig is prepped completely for Satellite. I suggest connecting everything directly first. I mean bypass rig completely. From sat go directly to wally and from wally directly to TV. This way you know sat works and if there is a problem you k ow it's not your sat but RV's wiring.
@@RVHabit Thanx for that. I bought my King & Roof Mount from CW online. I now hear that they will not work in Canada. Have you heard anything on those lines?
That is right Doug, As far as I know Dish Network only works in the US. It is a violation of the radio communications act to legally receive it in Canada. I would call Dish and see if they have any options to receive Dish through a Canadian provider.
Hi, yes I was really doubting myself thinking why in the world do I need satellite but I love it and the pay as you go is perfect for RVing. Happy traveling.
If you are using a tripod you should try to have the handle facing North but it does not need to be exact. If mounting on the roof of your RV either directly or with bracket, the handle should face the rear of the coach. The interior dish under the dome moves automatically to align with the satellites.
@@RVHabit going with the roof option, and for a traveling trailer, does this mean you would have try and park with the rear of the trailer facing north all the time? Thanks.
@@Asimo929RR I have not worried about which way I park. The only concern is a clear view of southern sky with no obstruction like trees. The satellite antenna rotates to find the satellites.
Tom, Great Video. In fact, all your videos that I have watched have been very helpful. I'm gonna order this setup through your Amazon link you have listed above. One question, can you travel with this setup, or do you remove it from the roof when you roll down the road?
Hi I absolutely travel with this in place. That's the whole idea of the mount on the roof. It attaches securely but allows for removal if need be. The setup and equipment have worked flawlessly for me. I appreciate you commenting and good luck with your install.
Hi Jimmy, if you have a Forester you most certainly should have satellite prep. On the 2016 models, the coax connector is on the roof right in front of the AC (it may be under some Dicor). They may have moved the location but I doubt it. Good luck let me know how you make out.
Absolutely, It comes with mounting holes to mount the antenna. I chose to use a removable mount but that is an option not a requirement. Mounting screws are not provided as you will need what works best for your RV.
If you mean the RG-6 you should not have an issue. Where you may run into problems is if you try to use a splitter between the satellite and the Wally receiver. That should be a straight run of cable.
12:48 480p?! Yikes, I would expect at least 1080p. Something is better than nothing I suppose. Edit: after reading other posts and replies, it looks like 1080p is just an easy upgrade with an HD package.
You got the Mac Daddy set up for Satellite on a RV. Excellent. That option of being able to remove the antenna is so important. Obviously there are lots of sites you will not have signal because of trees. Then you can take it down and position it on the ground. Carry a 50' cable in case you have to position it far away from the RV to get a signal. I have the same roof you do. What fasteners do you use to attach things to your roof? I am about to attach a 100 watt solar panel to mine and wanted to make sure it doesn't fly away. Great comic out take🤣at the end of the video. You reminded me a little bit of Dom Herrera there😂. Entertaining and informative👍
Hi and thanks for all the kind words. Yes, I really love the removable roof mount, it was a major deciding factor. But I can't say enough how nice the King Tailgater Pro is and how conveniet the DishForMyRV service is. I used square tip course thread stainless steel screws to attach the mount. I always use EternaBond tape also. I think the EternaBond holds better than screws. Thanks for watching. (Yes Dom Irrera, you know us Italians from the northeast lol)
Hi Mike I got the Wally on Amazon. I got the voice remote and that remote does need internet to work. Here is the link amzn.to/2L9fPEZ The Wally with the regular remote is the same base unit. See it on Amazon here amzn.to/2TqtfMV
Trying to decide on which satellite system to go with. I'm pre-wired with coax only at the roof. I actually called Dish tech support as I had some questions regarding the King Dome. They told me that the King satellite only rotates 180 degrees and that the front of the coach will need to face south or south east or south west. If it's facing north the dish can not rotate far enough to get the south sky. Have you experienced this? Also, this dish has a single LNB and will only lock on to 1 satellite at a time. Has this been an issue for you? TIA
Hi, I have not experienced any problem with the direction my RV faces. As for the single LNB, if I choose a channel on a different satellite than the one it is locked on it will automatically adjust to the correct satellite. It has performed trouble free since the install. Just got back from a trip and worked great. Good luck with your research. I am not sure if other manufacturers have dome antennas that eliminate those issues.
I don't mind the question at all. I have no affiliation with Dish. I pay for everything myself. After research I chose Dish because it is RVer friendly allowing me to pay for only the months I use it. It also allows me to get HDTV on a dome antenna. What I chose works best for my application. There are other brands of dome antennas and the option to use DirectTV. Make sure you look at all the options available and choose what works best for you. I only show you one option of what I use.
Hey Lou, it’s Jane...the bell won’t stay on so I unsubscribed and resub...stopped by to see what you are up to. I like the idea of paying for only the months you use. I always enjoy your reviews BECAUSE you research to death ...I usually do the same...drives Ken 😜 crazy! Hahahahahah love the end!
Thanks Jane I have been super busy as I am most summers. I really was on the fence with buying a satellite for the RV because I didn't think I would get enough use out of it. But the pay as you go program made it worth trying. Now that I have it I absolutely love it! I hope all is well with you and Ken and you're enjoying the traveling. This is the first night I actually have sat down and I am trying to catch up on watching videos. Stay safe, Lou
I hope it's working good for you. I purchased this same set up but with the tri pod from "dish for my RV" and it was total garbage. It connected once and never worked again. I called dish for my RV and they have horrible customer service. I even bought the extended warranty from them and they won't answer any questions and automatically send you to the manufacturer who is absolutely horrible as well. I spent over $200 bucks in programming because they can't diagnose it without it being in service. I personally could never recommend this product or the company where I purchased it from. So if anyone wants one for a good price I have a brand new one if you're willing to deal with the idiots I bought it from to get it fixed or exchanged. Damn things still have the tags on em!!
I am sorry to hear that. Mine works very well. I have a basic programming package and have had zero issues. I bought my Satellite directly from King and the Wally from Amazon. I called Dish to set everything up and there customer service was actually above average. Again I'm sorry it has not worked out.

Hi Ken, No Dicor is not strong enough you will need a mechanical fastener.
A very nice installation presentation

Excellent walk-through.
Is 480p the max resolution or just the default?
That is an excellent question that I didn't address in the video. 480p is the default. I changed it to 1080p. The Tailgater Pro with Dish Network supports full HD.

Do you have a how to with DirecTV , this would be very helpful
Sorry Deborah I don't. I have only used Dish service.
Thanks for this video. Installed my Dish Dome yesterday and it work perfectly.
Glad to hear it. Happy travels, Lou.
Thanks Lou!
PS. All 3 TVs can be on the same channel. Auburn football. So I don’t need 3 wallys? Right? Thanks
This is a good step by step video which is what I need.. How much do they charge by month if you starting out?
There are many packages with different channels to choose from. My package is the Flex Pac and I pay $38 for the month.
Lou, Thank you for the great explanation and the install. Love the idea of "pay as you use it, real cool. Thanks again.
Thanks as always John. I agree the pay-as-you-go option is the RV friendly service
Lou, I am just curious, but do you ever remove it from the roof when driving from one destination to another?
Hi, No I never have. I always drive with it mounted to the roof.
Thank you for the review, I'm waiting for my system to come in next week. Thank you again happy camping, I'm in NJ as well. 🇺🇲🤙🏼
Hi Rocky, You will love this setup. I am very happy with mine.
@@RVHabit I'm looking forward to it. Hey you said you are in jersey maybe we can meet up one day, I live in Bayonne let me know. Thanks 🇺🇲🤙🏼
King works ok on main but the secondary only gets one station and by switching coax at the dome the issue switches to the other tv I think there is an issue with the dome antenna
pherhaps you have a problem with the one Wally since it switches when you change Wally receiver's. i would contact support. Good luck.
@@RVHabit
Thanks for the info. Mine is just a cable hook up, with 3 TV's. looks like a little rewiring is in my future, lol.
Thanks again.
Thanks for getting back to me so fast. I will watch the other video.
What that white antenna on side of vent? Radio/CB, etc? How you mount that?
That is a wifi reception antenna. I no longer use that antenna as I switched to the King Falcon WiFi reception antenna. I had the antenna mounted to the air vent cover with two clips.
2 thumbs up. A great step by step install video. Thank you very much.
Thanks so much. I appreciate you taking the time to watch and comment, Lou.
Awesome video I have the same roof what kind of screws did you use to mount the roof
Hi Jim, I used square tip course thread stainless steel screws to attach the mount. I always use EternaBond tape also. I think the EternaBond holds better than screws. Thanks for watching!
RV Habit do you remember what length and size like 1/4 or 3/8
If I remember correctly I used 1 inch or 1 and 1/4 inch in length.
RV Habit ok thanks
My question is that I thought the handle needs to be facing north. How do you compensate for it?
Great question. Since the RV moves the handle just goes to the rear. The satellite will do the rest.
@@RVHabit I am not sure I understood you, Does this mean I would have to park the RV with the back facing north?
How's the MB700 holding up after 2 years? Getting ready to install mine on a fiberglass roof. What screws did you use? Thanks!
Hi Scott, holding up great. I am still 100 percent happy with this upgrade. I used one inch stainless steel course thread screws from Kreg.
Great video...thanks Jersey brother
Hi Chris, anytime.
Great info! What tripod would you recommend for this when not mounted on the roof?
I don't use a tripod but I have heard the King TR1000 works very well. Here is a link to check it out. amzn.to/2Ct3PbV
The King tripod works great easy to set up has it's own storage bag. I also use a bicycle locking cable to lock it to the RV.
How do add second TV. We have King antenna with 2 receivers. How can the second TV receive work off the other
Hi Kenora, the King antenna should have two in dependant connections. A separate wire goes from the antenna to each Wally. The only restriction is the wally can only receive the particular satellite channels that the first Wally is connected to
@@RVHabit thank you
Did you run the coax to the satellite hookup on the unit or strait to the wall receiver?
@@RVHabit Thank you for clarifying!
Hi Lou! Have you had any issues with your Wally or Tailgater since you installed it?
Hi, I have not had any issues with the Wally or Tailgator. The entire system has worked great. I would do it exactly the same if I had to do it over.
@@RVHabit Is there a discount for buying these items through your Amazon storefront?
I absolutely love my 2801. I'm sure you will love yours.
You did a great job. Loved it
Thank you. Still working great and one of my best upgrades.
Hi, i have a question i am sure you can answer, is the King Unit with the Mounting Bracket taller or below the top height of your AC Unit on the roof? Thanks in advance ... Great Video also.
I have a low profile AC unit and the King is only 3 or 4 inches above that. I think the Dish is about 13 or 14 inches in total height.
@@RVHabit thanks for replying
Thank you for watching I appreciate it, Lou
Dang..... sure wish I had that kind of luck.
What if you have a 2nd tv in your rv. How do you set up the 2nd receiver
Thanks
Do you have to go through the whole set up each time that you unhook and hook back up to AC power?
The setup is done when you connect power and is restarted if you disconnect power and reconnect power. BUT.... it does it automatically just turn on the receiver and it does the rest. Your watching TV in five minutes.
@@RVHabit thanks
@@RVHabit Got it, I should be getting everything in this week and I will try that thank you.
Good luck let me know how you make out
@@RVHabit will do, I probably will do it at home, hook everything up and call them to activate it.
I also have a fiberglass roof. What screws did you use please?
Hi Doug, I used 1 inch stainless steel Kreg coarse thread screws.
Awesome you got your dish, really cool how you can pay monthly. Great review!
Hi, yes I was really doubting myself thinking why in the world do I need satellite but I love it and the pay as you go is perfect for RVing. Happy traveling.
Thank you! Will have to look into it!
Do you have to point the handle north? If so will it rotate in the bracket?
Thanks for this just picked ons of these up
I love this setup. I'm sure you will too!
Good video thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
How do you level the satellite when mounted on the roof?
I don't. I level the rig, turrn on the wally receiver, and in 5 minutes I have TV automatically. Still. Loving it.
Lou,where did you go though the roof with the antenna cable?
My rv is pre-wired with a connection on the roof but usually I run wires through refrigerator vent
RV Habit I have a 2018 forester 2431. I will check to see if it has one . Thanks again
Hi Jimmy, if you have a Forester you most certainly should have satellite prep. On the 2016 models, the coax connector is on the roof right in front of the AC (it may be under some Dicor). They may have moved the location but I doubt it. Good luck let me know how you make out.
is there a permanent way to mount the dish?
Absolutely, It comes with mounting holes to mount the antenna. I chose to use a removable mount but that is an option not a requirement. Mounting screws are not provided as you will need what works best for your RV.
RV Habit how do you test cable to see if it supports dish TV capabilities.
Oh, by the way, I am also going to do solar at some point but I am leaning towards the flexible panels.
Thank you!
You're welcome!
How can I set up in Middle East countries?
I don't know if you can. Dish Network is only available in the US
That is what Dish said so they replaced both of them and still have the issue
We have the same intro music. This is awkward.
Where did you buy your wally
Hi Mike I got the Wally on Amazon. I got the voice remote and that remote does need internet to work. Here is the link amzn.to/2L9fPEZ The Wally with the regular remote is the same base unit. See it on Amazon here amzn.to/2TqtfMV

Thanks we still love this setup.
Is it true about the 180 and the direction your coach is facing?
@@RVHabit And you have on affiliation with Dish? Sorry but I have to ask.
I never noticed whether it turns only 180 degrees or not and have never had a problem regardless of which direction i am facing.

Hello, just found your channel. Am going to subscribe because I notice that your t-shirt at the end of the video is from Ray and Anne.
Hi, Ray is a great inspiration of mine. Welcome to the channel.
I feel the same about Ray, too. Though I’ve been RVing for years, I’ve learned a bunch from them.
Free sir ?
I have the same setup and it works every time no issues at all, I would highly recommend it to others.
You
