I purchased the same unit, but the salesman said that I did not need the base. However, watching your video educated me as to what I need. Thank You!
If you want to mount it to something semi permanent, you need the base, otherwise you don't.
Good job. I'm trying to educate myself on what equipment I need to be able to have tv in the National Parks and remote areas
This is definitely one way to go.
You should use eternabond tape to hold the cable wire down . No screws !
I wanted the wires to stay down out of harms way.
I like the insert molding trick never thought of that before I’ve only used the zip ties with the eyelets or wire mold. I also hate drilling blind I call that the leap of faith lol
It truly is a leap of faith. NO GUTS NO GLORY !!!!
good job Kenny..
Thanks
The people in that neighborhood has a lot of property. That is some big front yards. Thanks Don
That is a pretty old neighborhood. It has always been real nice.
Always wondered how that was done. Thanks Kenny.
I was too.... ;)
IT IS MOUNTED BACKWARDS - THE HANDLE GOES TO THE REAR OF THE CAMPER
Ok
I think you mounted it backwards.
I might have...Don't know
So you always have to park the rv facing southern exposure??
The dish needs southern exposure. You can park the RV anyway, dish will find the signal.
Why didn’t you show the sealing of the cable through the roof. Tat a bigger hole
It was just a little dicor. That's all. Sorry
Mounted backwards, and why did you mount it so far away from your coax hole. Not very professional.
Eventually some good information but way too much talking before we got there
@@hillbillyrv Thank you for the demo. I learned alot and will now install a Weingard Directv Trav"ler on a roof.
