  • Old, worn pianos are free to get. That made me wonder what I would do with an old piano. I thought about it, made a plan and got me one. In the first video (if you would like to start with that, it's here: • How I Repurposed an Ol... ) we've shown what it can do, and in this video, you can see how I worked on it for five months and what I did.

      Alexey, you might be interested to know that on the first day you made a translation for the other video, about 1.500 people used that translation on one day! And since that day (29 september) until now about 10.000 used a Russian translation. Although not that much in respect of the total number of views, it is still a respectable number! So thank you again! (At this moment Russian is after EN, NL, DU and FR the most used translated subtitel.)

      Oh,thanks Ron. It's very intresting to me to know how many people turn on my translation. But I can't translate your video today. A lot of work,you know... But I'll try to translate your great video on monday. At last time on tuesday I think... P.S. the intro of the video is scary-making becouse of that fire on the display.😂 I even wonder that you will burn it in this video😅
      And I'm very happy that it isn't...😁

      There is no need to rush, I had not the intention to push you in any way to translate. I just want you to know that it is appreciated what you did, not only by me, but also by the many Russian speaking people that use your translation. Regards from the Netherlands, Ron.

      Yes I understood this,thanks. But I have told you that I'll help you,and I must help you. Just I will push myself to... I'm very happy to introduce smb my english and at I learn something in process. Without you I might begin to forget this language. But now I even develop my english level with help of you too.
      Your channel is amazing despite that it hasn't many videos. Your humour and your makes are great I like everything made out of wood. And I fell in love in your bus. I'm interested of that very much. How do it feels? I'm VERY happy to pay you by my translation for your great videos.
      Yes,my answer is a lot bigger than I thought around 5 minutes ago😂

      Thanks! Yes. I'm busy making a video of what we did with the bus in 2019. That might still take some time, but it will be there eventually. In it will be the answer to the most asked question, and the one I refused to answer until now... 😆😆

      Thank you. Piano and the video too, are both dear to me. I'm pretty convinced I did something wrong with the video (hence the low views) so I'm considering to do the video over again.

    Wow! This is impressive! I've Never thought I would see a piano (one of a kind) do what this piano can do. My first thought was wow! Is this Piano on display at Disney attractions? Lol. I bought those same Logitech Speakers and Woofer, and had to take it back, because the woofer would not function, well, it did at first, then it couldn't take the pressure. Very Important question: I'm converting my organ to a digital keyboard on an old 1972 Console, and seeing your Casio, and knowing I have a Casio CT-X3000 I was wondering if you can tell me if you Glued your Casio inside the piano or Bolted it in, or can you take it out when you need to replace it for another one?
    Thanks for your time. I'm age 65 in October. In North Florida. USA. Terry
    Wauw! Dit is indrukwekkend! Ik had nooit gedacht dat ik een piano (uniek in zijn soort) zou zien doen wat deze piano kan. Mijn eerste gedachte was wauw! Is deze piano te zien bij Disney-attracties? Lol. Ik kocht diezelfde Logitech-luidsprekers en woofer, en moest hem terugnemen, omdat de woofer niet functioneerde, nou ja, eerst wel, daarna kon hij de druk niet aan. Zeer belangrijke vraag: ik ben mijn orgel aan het omzetten naar een digitaal toetsenbord op een oude console uit 1972, en ik zie je Casio, en wetende dat ik een Casio CT-X3000 heb. Ik vroeg me af of je me kunt vertellen of je je Casio in de piano hebt gelijmd of vastgeschroefd, of kun je het eruit halen als je het voor een ander moet vervangen? Bedankt voor uw tijd. In oktober word ik 65 jaar. In Noord-Florida. VERENIGDE STATEN VAN AMERIKA. terry

      Glad you liked the video / piano! The Casio is clamped in. For that I took out wood at the sides of the piano and padded that with red fabric. That is all visible in this video, maybe you should watch again without skipping parts... 😁. Regards from the Netherlands, Ron.

    I don't understand this. The person who played the piano in the first video had long hair, but the person who build this thing don't have any hair(e.g. 2:45). Who is onrust?!?!?!

    • @Onrust1
      @Onrust1  4 года назад +1

      You don't think I can both make this AND play the piano like that, now do you? 😆😆 The one making is me, the one playing is Joffry Arthur, as was multiple times in text on screen...

    I don't understand why you cut the strings, why not remove the entire string board? Thus leaving you a harp of some sort, and less work.

    • @CaptRich-bi3gp
      @CaptRich-bi3gp 4 года назад

      Great build by the way!

    • @Onrust1
      @Onrust1  4 года назад +1

      Thank you. When I would have not cut the strings, the whole thing would have been much harder to handle. I did this all by myself, and otherwise I would have needed help. That was the main reason. But my neighbour collects iron for charity, so I gave that to him. That was another reason: separating iron and wood..

    You work hard and then install the Logitec speakers. 😕 Why didn't you put high quality speakers. like Genelec

    • @Onrust1
      @Onrust1  4 года назад +1

      You'd be surprised by the sound quality of this set, that was not really cheap. I had lots of requirements for this set: it had to contain a good amplifier, I wanted reasonable quality, they had to fit in next to the display (so not too big), preferable with a subwoofer (this has), the controls had to be all on the little speaker and I wanted to be able to shut off the sound by plugging in a headphone - in one of the top speakers. This set met all those conditions and I have no regrets buying it...
