    Anyone being critical of his driving style must not know what drifting in a low hp car is like because if you did you would be in a awe of his driving skill.

    • @JB-sv5pr

      DriftDisciple for real the throttle control angle and level of speed zipping around that track is wild

    underpowered car, no e-brake, drift with only the use of controlling the car's inertia, taking time to flick some F Us...pure genius *salute*

      ***** Hah. Who designated you as the official drift-authority? If it gets the car sideways and helps you keep it that way, its legit in my book. Don't be so elitist.

    • @_chipchip
      @_chipchip 10 лет назад +21

      ***** Setting up a drift without using the e-brake (faint drift) is harder generally. It doesn't even matter what you do, as long as the car is sideways.

    • @MegaHitsGaming

      On technicality, the clutch acts as an e-brake in the situations in which he shifts gears :)

      +Such Doge drifting can be higher speeds infact have you seen formula drift? but that isnt too important what is, is in a drag you are going straight in a drift you are heading into corner sideways at relatively high speed.

    • @Tougebeat
      @Tougebeat 8 лет назад +1

    • @battlecruiserna
      @battlecruiserna 9 лет назад +1

      Fons van der Pol
      and if not its just a clutch. all it really needs to do is last until the end of the race anyway. People see the rough handling and they don't understand its not a drive to church, or because they have a small budget, or because whatever. a low horsepower rear wheel can only get around corners quickly if you use physics and sometimes to access those physics you have to be rough. If I'm not mistaken this ae86 in the video has around 184 hp, that is more than enough for this lightweight fr sprinter and most of it is probably used on the straights where horespower actually matters.

    • @TelecasterLPGTop
      @TelecasterLPGTop 9 лет назад +2

      +R. elentless No it's plain old logic. Dick heads who haven't the skills revert to technology to do what they themselves are incapable of doing. Similar to using a calculator to add numbers instead of just using the brain which can be trained to do the same thing faster.

    • @B__L
      @B__L 8 лет назад +1

      Felix Burke No shit but to say that anyone who tries to make their car faster is a "slow driver" is just plain asinine. By that logic you're saying F1 drivers are slow drivers because their teams constantly strive to make the cars quicker.

    • @letskeepearthgreen
      @letskeepearthgreen 8 лет назад +5

      +R. elentless No, drivers who HAVE'NT the skills and RELY on technology to go faster, are slow drivers. F1 drivers aren't just mexican highschoolers with fast cars. That's like saying NBA players are only good cause their shoes, and otherwise suck lol

  • @ChrisKsan
    @ChrisKsan 9 лет назад +114

    It's just amazing how many ignorant kids are out there! "His car needs more upgrades". Back in the day, the early days of drifting, coming from street drifting it was all about man-handling the car to do what the driver wanted, nowadays the cars do a heck of a lot more than what the driver does. Put it simply, back in the day a driver required a heck of a lot more skill to get a car sideways, whereas today a tap of the gas will do.
    Learn some facts kids, learn some drifting history. It hasn't disappeared, if you have an internet connection to leave ignorant comments, you can use that internet connection to educate yourselves.

    fuck I love cars & motor sport, every vehicle has its place regardless of what everyones idea of the best car/motor/chassis/suspension setup/track/class bla bla bla is, all I can say about this video is that it is one of the most exciting in car drift videos I've ever watched, there are some parts where I feel like the car is slightly under powered for his aggressive style, but once he masters the gear/revs he attacks the same corners much harder. personally im hooked on RB and 2J motors, but the sound of that 4 banger stretched to its limit, pure motor, music to any true fans ears!
