My favourite Cartoon Network is Ed Edd n Eddy as it was the only series that me and my older brother shared in common. I was basically a 2000s kid so the shows I watched on Cartoon Network were Ed Edd n Eddy, Camp Lazlo, My Gym Partner Is A Monkey, Ben 10, Fosters Home For Imaginary Friends, The Grim Adventures Of Billy And Mandy, Chowder and Codename Kids Next Door.
When I was a kid back in the 90s and 2000s, I had a great animated movie collection but as for cartoons that were on video and DVD to me, they just felt like a waste of money since they already showed up all the time on TV. I swear if I had known how bad cable channels like Cartoon Network were going to become, I would have been collecting these classics every chance I got.
Cool video, and yeah, they absolutely CAN take stuff off. They advertised HBO Max as the home for all things CN, but they've been slowly plucking the shows off one by one. They recently pulled Dexter off the service, but luckily, they finally released a full DVD set (in my region), so I just grabbed that. It even has the Ego Trip movie they never bothered to put on Max in the first place!
I also have Fool About Laughing (as seen on the thumbnail) and the Laugh Your ‘Ed Off DVDs. Got both of them as for Christmas some years ago and I have really fond memories with both. Seeing those old shows from the mid-late 90s gives me endless nostalgia throughout. - By the way, a RUclipsr by the name of ‘Ati’ had made a video last year of the walkthroughs for both DVDs which contain assorted promotions, bumpers and idents. Just thought I might provide outside info.
Yeah, all those promos and idents on the DVD were obviously intended to promote the channel, but now they make a nice time capsule for that era of Cartoon Network. 🙂
This was an education! Never knew that Ed,Edd and Eddy even had a region 2 DVD. Purchased a region free player a few years ago, so I’ll definitely be looking for that Courage The Cowardly Dog DVD set. Favourite series was the Power Puff Girls myself and my sister loved that show, was always secretly jealous of her merch collection😂
10:12 I'm a huge fan of both teen titans and teen titans go Back To The Past! Without those 2 shows I wouldn't become a fan of both action cartoons and the DCAU. Also raven is my favorite character because of the voice actress playing her. 👍❤️
Apparently there was a cartoon network racing game for ps2 which had character rosters from dexter, johnny bravo, cow and chicken, i am weasel, and the powerpuff girls I remember ads for this game when it came out in 2006 Any thoughts i consider it the nicktoons racing of cartoon network Only issue, no eds, no billy and mandy, no kids next door, no sheep, no time squad, no fosters, no lazlo, no adam and jake, and no robot jones I get why too much characters can hurt the hardware Even so the game does look good
Warner Archive put out the first season of The Mask: Animated Series, another show Cartoon Network aired but not produced, on DVD a couple of years back, but every season is available to stream. I'm thinking of just burning those streaming masters onto a couple of blu-rays and make my own set.
@@BacktothePast The entire series in their streaming prints are "online" "somewhere" let's just say, so I think that's what I'll do. Maybe add some original promos and ads as extras? The new Ed Edd Eddy set did this which was really cool to see them in their proper master and not VHS rips. Managed to pick it up for £30 on Amazon last month. No specials like you said, but fantastic price, and i really like the extras they included.
@@nighttimevideo The funny thing is those EEnE extras are just repurposed from a 2006 DVD release of the first two seasons, but it's probably the most complete set you'll see of the series unless they get remastered for Blu-ray, which would be nice.
I really need to boost my cartoon network collection Especially since madman entertainment has released alot of the classics and modern classics on dvd I'm trying to find the dexters lab set but unfortunately i could never find it even though i know it exists Its a shame shout factory will never do a cartoon network complete series line similar to what they did with the nicktoons Come one shout factory give us the goods
Yeah, I'm not sure what the deal is with Cartoon Network shows being so ridiculously hard to collect - I don't think a single show has been released in its entirety in the UK, which is why I've had to go on such an import hunt over the years to track some of them down.
To think I found many of these rare Cartoon Network dvds at my local 99 cent store back in 2008…
I also have those Toon Foolery DVDs and I got for really cheap as well :D
I can't believe the regional differences between DVDs

Always great to see more love for the Eds. 🙂
I'd NEVER heard of Toon Foolery DVDs until now and it's going to be the beginning of the end for me

Good news
Dexters lab finally got a complete series set in region 1

Yeah, I was guilty of owning PPG merch - so much for a girls' cartoon. 😄

Raven isn't Raven without Tara Strong's voice. 😆
@@BacktothePast Tara strong always inspired me to become a voice actor 👍❤️
Se a minha família ainda tivesse aparelho de dvd a minha família iria querer ter esse unboxing do cartoon network❤😂🎉😅😊 7:41

Good idea - always useful to have them physically when they can just be removed from streaming services or even bits chopped out!

For region 1, the power puff girls complete series is getting repackaged.
A good decision - hopefully that makes it much less expensive to collect now! 🙂
@@BacktothePast all together I paid about 71 dollars for the complete series, that’s still cheaper then paid for the 10th anniversary used.
