Foster's, Juniper Lee, Grim Adventures, Teen Titans, Camp Lazlo... I'm proud to have grown up with all of these shows. It's a pity that the current generation will never know how awesome these cartoons were.
This may be a bit off note , but besides cartoons I feel like video games from around the 2000s fall around the same note a lot of stuff in both cartoons and video games was memorable and good compared to some stuff of today.
This was not the golden era. The 90s cartoons were. 2000 was the beginning of the end. They had a couple good ones here and there but it definitely wasn't worth watching the channel all day for. I've been watching Cartoon Network since it launched

Cartoon Network in the 90's was basically a Hanna-Barbera rerun channel (with the exception of the tail end of the 90's like '98 or '99). There were plenty of shitty 90's cartoons too but a lot of ppl fail to mention those and only focus on the good ones.
After season 3, The Clone Wars became such an awesome TV Show that added so much more depth to the Prequels and SW universe in particular. Also, the ending was just flawless.
Yeah and season 3 was showing that things were getting darker and closer to episode 3 Revenge of the Sith. Although I’d say season 5 is my top favorite.
Codename Kids Next Door is honestly just as fun to watch as Powerpuff Girls The chemistry and bond between Sector V is so wholesome And the villains/rogues gallery in KND rivals that of the Powerpuff Girls’
2K CN was a gold mine! Rich with ideas and peak animated content. We have things like Craig of the Creek nowadays, but things really don't feel the same. We really were lucky.

I was born in 1997 and originally from Serbia, so our programming libary was different from the original (US) counterpart. But i am lucky to have grew up to watch amazing CN from the 2000s. They were the epicenter of the CNs from the 2000s era.

When they changed the logo in 2010 thats when they really stopped playing old shows and action shows. In favor of more live action shows, and new shows like Adventure Time, Steven Universe, Gumball and Teen Titans Go. They just marathon the same 4 shows every day when they know they have a huge backlog of old shows. But I guess the old shows from 2000s are too dark with the comedy compared to now like Ed Edd n Eddy and Billy and Mandy

Damn that nostalgia definitely hits harder than any anime I have ever watched.Back then I use to watch almost all of these cartoons and TBH they were definitely my childhood. My top favorites back then were Teen Titans,Ben 10(excluding reboot),Samurai Jack,Powerpuff Girls(excluding reboot) and Ed,Edd and Eddy⭐🌟🌠🌠 These were the cartoons I really loved watching on cartoon network back then when cartoons used to be cool and freaking awesome🤩🤩🤩
Cartoon Network was the GOAT back then, im so glad to have grown up when i did, cartoons who weren’t afraid to push boundaries, had cool action, serious and scary scenes, and sneak in adult humor every now and then. I grew up with TeleToon and YTV, but both had some of CN's shows on them like Ben 10, the second rising of the Clone Wars, Foster's Home, Billy and Mandy, the list goes on. Also, AmiYumi sang the opening for Teen Titans as well as doing their own cartoon.

Kind of like how most anime series will have the English lyrics to the opening songs in odd-numbered episodes while the Japanese lyrics were used during even-numbered episodes.

I’m so glad i grew up in this era. The mindless fluff that a lot of TV is now makes me sad. Not to say there isn’t any good shows now, but back then, almost all of TV was good. 😢

Genndy Tartakovsky's "Samurai Jack" has always been my most favorite Cartoon Network show of all time.
Samurai jack's ability to tell story through action instead of dialog was nothing short of masterful.

I grew up with TeleToon and YTV, but both had some of CN's shows on them like Ben 10, the second rising of the Clone Wars, Foster's Home, Billy and Mandy, the list goes on.

@@mojo3318 In both English and Japanese, depending on the episode. The English rendition was played during episodes with more serious tones, while the Japanese rendition was used in comedic episodes. Kind of like how most anime series will have the English lyrics to the opening songs in odd-numbered episodes while the Japanese lyrics were used during even-numbered episodes.
