I was wondering is it okay to set the sleeves in to the deck like that or should they be seated on a counter bore at the bottom? I have seen them both ways. Is the sleeves thick enough for them to be set on a bottom step like they do when sleeving down from a 427 to a 428 bore for Stock and Super Stock? I’m wanting a 427 siamesed 4.32 bore for a 4.375 stroke 511. They are so dang expensive. All the hoarders have killed us hot rodders. I’ve done D4TE blocks at 4.125x 3.98 at 425.51. I have one D4TE left and someone stole my C4AE-G heads I spent forever porting to get them to 330/215 from the machine shop where I sent for a final touch. I about died from that. I had 5/16 intake guides and 11/32 exhausts and springs for my Bullet Solid Roller, a 279350 at. 245@.050.600 on a 108.5. Good Hardware all gone, valves retainers and 7 degree keepers. I am 64 legally blind, but I just wanted to build one more. I’m still hoping to find a 427 FE block. I have wanted one for so long! All the hoarders are killing the hot rodders.

Do they still have the gear drive like the late Pete Robinson ???

Exactly what I was wondering as the long chains were the weak link.

It’ll be a shame when that engine is covered up by a vehicle! 😂

Great video. Did your company CNC the block from Aluminum billet?

All-new manufactured parts and complete engines are available through Shelby American. Pricy though.

Why does this cammer block have lifter holes in it

So the crank bearing oiling holes chamfers were extended in only one direction?

Seems like you have simular cadence and sound simular to your Dad. I would call him when he could no longer get out. I know he hated it but he dealt with it easy it seemed.
-- I had thought you all had closed up when our own people went off shore.
I should have purchased some of the F5's for memory. Huge amount of time developing those. --- Glad to see the facility is being used. It's a lot to pay taxes and not used.

This is cool stuff to see. How much does a Cammer usually cost over a conventional FE build?

Four keyways on the crankshaft, looks like for a blower. Best guess a top fuel engine.
