Yes but than you need a m50 intake swap, as long as the original system still works fine and you only use it as a daily, is it even worth than ? (Afraid of losing torque in lower rpms). Where I live you can barely use all the horsepowers, even on highway...

i just got my tune ecu a day ago just its just sitting on my counter since my 2001 e46 330ci is at the shop currently, I'm super excited. but i have a question cuase my disa valve, its having an intermitted failure and not working currently, the mechanic has replaced it twice and its the only part that is failing, i had all vac leaks sealed, all gaskets replaced, the entire "CCV system replaced" (big fix) thankgawd lol and usual coil and plugs. and still the only part that is constantly failing is the damn disa valve. so anyways i know that has to be ECU related and the DME relay is starting to go bad. but ya im wondering if i put rileys tuned ECU in my car will it make my disa valve work properly again since my stock ecu seems to be on the fritz. ughhhhh anyway ill wait for your reply. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
I personally think if your ecu is not working correctly it would be causing more issues than just causing the disa valve to work incorrectly (i could be wrong though), if the source of the issue is the ecu than yes it should fix it, i recommend making a post in a forum like e46 fanatics and explaining your situation. I'm thinking to go stage 3 but still in doubts for the fast or spaced pops on my e46 330Ci convertible from 2000 with m54b30 engine already and 6 gears manual swap on it. Because I have atm still full stock intake, but a full custom loud exhaust with TopSpeed Performance catless headers and only muffler is a M3 Borla X-pipe (from the middle). The thing already sounds like an ak-47 in pops from nature with this exhaust setup so I'm bit afraid it might be even louder or even more pops than right now (so yes maybe Ill need another muffler still somehow). Good thing the flames are at least standard switchable right (bc in Belgium the cops not always like modded rides or annoying car control..)

I think I'm ready. 🤔

will stage two help your car pass emissions if you have catless headers
My friend you have a new sub
If ur ac or cruise control doesn’t work can you still toggle flames on and off ?
Depends why those buttons dont work, if they still send a signal to the cars computer to activate the cc or ac then it should still work
Stage 4 is better if you actually wanna go faster rather than just noise 💯

What do you mean by facelift / preface lift? My 01 330i is completely stock and I’m looking forward to tuning it. Great video btw!
I just saw another comment where you said every coupe model after 2004 is considered a facelift. What about 4 door e46?

If it’s a coupe anything before 04 is pre facelift
Bit of a PSA but a 330 shouldnt be touching 7k limiters fyi also its not overly hard to do most of the things on the list yourself for free
