To be fair, it does sound heavily influenced by Pixies (in the best of ways) so it's still part of 80s nostalgia. Sorry to piss on your cornflakes bud x

Sad to dissapoind you, but this was not even close to end of 80s nostalgia, we are actually still peaking since like 2020 lot of artist came on 80s vagon and some 90s grunge will have to wait some more, hope not another 6 years, as your comment are.

@@_-_Michael_-_ Yeah, sadly not :( I listened a lot to this track back in 2016, and while I'm so so glad the EDM wave has died off, it's disappointing grunge never made its big comeback.
I wrote my comment almost year ago and I need to say, I heard some more numbers that bring that elements back to their sound but still no big Grunge comeback. Maybe some Pop Punk tho.
I wish this song were like 25 minutes longer.

I heard this song live when they opened for Tokyo Police Club and Said the Whale. The Pack AD was supposed to open, but Dilly Dally was called in instead. Needless to say, they were very radical in comparison to TPC and STW. I can't say that I fully enjoyed their performance -their genre and style isn't my cup of tea- but I do have to give credit to the lead singer. Her vocals were very intense and very raw, and the band's overall performance is very similar to their studio work.

This band is amazing!
Saw these cats live in St. John's Newfoundland and got to meet the band after at a pop up show at the ship pub! They are now my favorite band, I want nothing but good things for these people. Liz is an excellent lead guitarist and any band is lucky to have her. The female vocalist was super sweet to me and we did a shot with my cousin. The drummer can keep a beat better than Donkey Kong can when he plays the bongos. The bassist has a lot of experience too and should be playing for AFI or something if this was 2001. You guys are going place and I hope you read this. If you EVER come back to NEWFOUNDLAND hit Justin Haynes or Jud Haynes up on FB. ;) Cheers, love and dissonance.
