- When Skyrim released in 2011, it gave us a chance to destroy the shadowy guild of assassins known as the Dark Brotherhood. But for an organization of trained killers, they went down without much of a fight. Today, we take a look at a mod that aims to fix that.

A simple anti-Dark Brotherhood storyline would be to just SAVE all the victims of assassinations by getting there first to protect them from the killer they recruited in your stead. So you destroy all the contract assassins, then all the bosses. I'd much prefer that! Murdering poor Narfi in Ivarstead wasn't very nice, was it.
I would argue Lurbuk was the most petty and cruel.
I downloaded and played through this modded version of the Dark Brotherhood, and was amazed at how well done it was. The vanilla version of destroying the Dark Brotherhood should have been like this in general. Bethesda need to hire great writers for TES6. They're lacking in this department.
16:09 And then there's Babbet.... Dark Brotherhood's 300+ year old vampire looking like a child, and since she always gets away, one of the other members should be there to help "keep up appearances" for her. So one of the adults getting away is a good thing for this instance. Also, Cicero wasn't there, and none of the others seem to know how to get into the Dawnstar sanctuary, only Astrid barely acknowledged it in the quest line, and her hubby doesn't know how to get in, else he would of gone in after that gester.
So, the guy on the outside, most likely fell for Babet's ploy. "Oh help me, I've been kidnapped by the dark brotherhood, save me" munches on his neck after getting all the info she needs to know what happened exactly, and discover who was strong enough to kill her friends.
When I saw the title, my first thought was which one? It funny that we had two major overhauls of destroying the dark brotherhood released with a few weeks of eachother.
Here's my take on this mod. Good quest expansion lack luster reward. I wish it just felt worthy of destroying the Dark Brotherhood. Maybe they'll add more to it later

Although I always wondered why Maro would not dispatch some men to go with you to the sanctuary (other than the fact that you cannot bring people with you inside). Glad they addressed this.
Ok so 3000 Septims still. They did not change the reward amount. Ok...

Not only that , this is compatible without patches for Penitus Oculatus. ;) Two for one. you can both Jaysperpa's mods and WSkeevers as an added bonus. Thus officially inducting you into the Empire's replacement for the Blades.
After you take out the Brotherhood with Skeever's mod installed you can then hunt down and Weaken the Thalmor. I can pair these with Second Great War.

This is intriguing. I've been playing with the Penitus Oculatus story mod, but once I've finished that I'll be giving this a try. I've enjoyed JaySerpa's other quest expansions.

Great video as always! Thank you! Respect your view on ai voices. I think you should consider a line between newly created voices versus replicated actor voices if you haven't already. For a lot of modders, newly created voices (for new characters) is just replacing their sister or their friends father and not a paid voice actor. Just easier and saves time. Anyway, love your videos!

could you make a video of MadAborModding's boethiah and mehrunes dagon alt quest? they're not using ai VO and seems like a really good alternate quest for good dragonborn playthrough. I love every single your mod showcase video and would love to see your review since i never installed it myself
what they should've done is have Astrid give you contracts that disrupt the Night Mothers plans if you sided with her ideals for the Brotherhood more often.

@@0periodproductions Hey George, Just Wanted To Ask You Or Anyone This Question Directly, How Are Bugs Or Glitches Or Whatever These Two Issues I Found Called And How They Are Fixed?, The 2 Problems I Found Was Npcs Having Their Quivers Still Equipped To Their Back Despite Being Looted Off, And The Major One I Found Was The Roggvir's Execution Not Playing Out And Instead Just Npcs Looking And Not Doing Anything
