As much as these horses are trained to be "bomb-proof", it is SO unfair to subject them to constant molestation from idiot tourists. They need to prohibit people from touching the horses all together (not just the reins) and make them stand at least a metre away. We do not allow people to touch police or service dogs on duty, so why can't we afford the horses the same dignity and protection?
