@@brigitteka4958 Thank you for your post. I used to have a horse like Ormornde but not as bad. My horses failing was that when we had to go round a small roundabout he decided that he would keep going round and round until He decided enough was enough. Very imbarassing.

These guards and their mounts put up with so much aggravation. People are careless with their children near these horses. Love Ormonde. He respects and enforces his boundaries. These are working military horses not pets.

Ormonde has personal space boundaries- and he doesn’t like people behind his eyeline- those who approach from the front are usually tolerated.
He is always. Alert. On the ball ready willing and able.
We may laugh at Ormond's behaviour, but that guard has to control the horse and carry the sword. The guard's hands must hurt after their shift. Ormonde is himself fed up of being taunted by some tourists, which may be why he is bighting others. We all enjoy watching these videos, but people should be better educated at Horse Guards. Perhaps more simple to understand signs should be installed around areas frequented by the public, especially the gatesman and chitsman. Thank you guards for your service.

Have you ever seen a horse person do anything like that? no! some people think they’re horse whisperers and talk to them in the oddest way. never does a thing for the horse. also, i just love it when the horse pushes them away, even twice, and they move back, sometimes even closer - such intelligence! Sorry, but i have watched a lot of these, and sometimes what people do is totally off the wall.
