Carci, In the west storage room when dealing with the detonator to get medallion, you actually was a bit lucky that mr X came in the room exactly in time not to make the cupboard drop. Just saying this cause you forgot to mention and players who try your walkthrough would get stuck in the room with mr X.

Actually Lickers can't smell you. Thing is their hearing is so sharp they can still hear your footsteps even if you just walk. That's why they "look" around when you walk beside them, because they hear your steps and they're actively trying to localize you

My 2nd Leon B run - my 5th run in general (every Scenario just played once, not touched the game for a few month after) - my very first Hardcore Mode run in general - previous runs were all just B's or even C's? ..and I managed to finish in 1:37:40 with no damage, thanks to you Carci. It took me one whole week to learn the routing, to memorize behaviour of the enemies, from normal Zombie to super tyrant. Countless resets to learn and apply my own strats in various sections where yours unfortunately did not work out, because enemies in my runs - at times - behaved completely different from those in your video, no matter how often I would replay a certain section. But it was tons of fun to find ways to overcome those hurdles and I learned a shitload of stuff about this game in general, espacially thanks to your insight you share. Thanks Carci, I owe you a lot, appreciate your work!

The zombie in the prison section can be prevented from getting up in the escape sequence, by decapitation. I do it every single run because it saves about 2 seconds (He's out of range of the flashbang)
Just putting this out there, I discovered your channel about 2 weeks ago. I completed my first Hardcore run today. Nowhere close to your time but significantly better than my first Normal run. All that to say keep pumping out videos. You're one of the most entertaining channels just for the commentary and the gameplay
These videos have helped me so much. I didn't want to copy your run step by step, but I used all the things I've learned from watching, and completed Leon 2nd with no damage last night! I got the "no heals" achievement because of your techniques. So thank you lol. Granted, it was on Standard and only got an A rank, but I am still just learning the map and collecting all the items so I can memorize where everything is. After I finish Claire 2nd tonight I'm definitely going for some Hardcore runs :)

19:35 Shooting onehanded, it sometimes is worth tilting yer firearm slightly invard (maybe not as much as Leon though) to absorb recoil better. Its a well developed style in competition shooting, for example :)
@@justastellarperson219 Shooting at that particular angle one-handed puts your elbow in a more natural position to absorb recoil. It works well with big bore revolvers and snappy pocket pistols. It's not fully sideways, it's more of a 45 degree angle.

Ikr. On my first run, I was eh toward Ada. Kinda annoying scheming person but whatever. But after I did Claire, I grew to dislike Ada. Now during the sad piano moment between Leon and Ada I always yelled, "SHOOOOT HEEER!" lol.
Earned a new sub! Great walkthrough mate. I managed to get an S+ rank on Leon B in 2hrs 38min. If not for my weird obsession with looking over the map and silly inventory mistakes which had me back tracking, I’m sure with your guides I can get close to the 2hr mark. I Took damage ONE time right at the start from that silly cop you pull through the shutter in A scenario too 🙄 that pissed me off lol. Was also 137 steps over the 14k limit for that record 😩😩.. Honestly, we need that. Plus, all the mysterious shit capcom put into her role should be over by now. I loved that we get to play her at RE6 but her story didn't answer anything. Now, i really think we need 1 more game, Ada only, just maybe for us to know how she survived RE2 (i know we got Umbrella chronicles - need a remake for this too), or maybe what she was doing post-RE4. It’s amazing how Mr.X still wanders the station, even when he’s too far away from Leon to have a reason to still be loaded. Most games would just delete characters until they’re needed. Adds a new level of tension to the game.

Great guide again carci! Did this on ps4 and got the s+ with 26 seconds to spare! Lol I thought the stupid eye at the end was going to take too much time and make me go over 2hrs. I saved at 1st getting to sewers main lobby, before g3, and before super tyrant.
I have been playing this for weeks now and wrote out several guides for all scenarios and speed runs netting an 'S' Ranking without looking at the internet. I'm completely geeking this, I am hooked. Totally encyclopedia Browning this game and I'm loving it. Identifying how much ammo I'm left with at the end of the game and then deciding whether it's worth going to certain locations that could harbour an non-essential item... I love working that out! Then I find this video. No Damage, no saves, Hardcore mode and well within the time limit. Holy shit. I have never done this before, but I have liked and subscribed to you BEFORE I have even watched your video. Have you ever considered any uploads from the 90's trilogy, RE, RE2 and Nemesis? Hey Carci, thank you very much for your videos, they are extremely helpful for learning the game. Out of all the scenarios in the game, I believe I have the most trouble with this one, and more specifically, I seem to be hitting a "bad" version of RPD1. Basically, whenever I clean out the East Office (following your route) and attempt to get the rest of the bullets in this hallway, that door camper cop zombie busts out into the hall. To make matters worse, there's also some other zombie appearing from beyond the Press Room. Since I have no weapon or defense items, I am forced to first force the second zombie into the Press Room and run around him, then bait the door camper zombie to walk towards the Press Room (so he spawns beyond it, from the other side of the shutter) and at the same time micro-manage the zombie I left in the Press Room (so he stays inside long enough for me to escape). While it is somewhat doable (but dangerous), it does take a bunch of time to actually get out. Has this happened to you? Maybe you prevent it by skipping some items? (The handgun bullets in the stairs, for example?)
Thanks to your guides I was able to get S+ with Hardcore on Leon A and B. Of course the "No Damage"/"No Save" was out of the question but holy hell was it one effing ride. Now I'm gonna vent blowing zombies up with the rocket launcher before attempting Claire.
I had heard this was a high quality remake..until seeing it for myself, I had no idea. Wasn't too into it when it originally came out, but now I'm interested in it.
Hey Carci! Loved this run. The only part that gave me trouble for some reason was the Organ Trail. I revised that strat a little bit. Essentially, i used the M19 to shoot the first G-Adult out of the water, waited a spit second (because he will stun you pretty well), then ran around him on Leon's right. Then, shot at the eye mass on the second G with the Lightning Hawk to cause him to stun (BUT NOT KILL HIM), ran around him, then as the slidy boi came out the pipe I hugged the left side and quickly popped the zombie with the Hawk and made it safely. To get back, I just utilized first run strats. Seemed way more consistent for me and I saved an ass load of ammo.
Fun fact, actually a cop shooting one handed WOULD hold a gun like that. Arm slightly bent in, gun canted. It brings the sights to you and helps compensate for the added recoil. The only missing detail is bringing your support hand up to your chest to aid in a stable shooting platform.
If you want to make a quick detour to extend your inventory at 36:45 walk to the desk in front of where the inventory box is in Leon A, in the main hall. There was a pouch on the desk. This is assuming you are copying all the inventory pick ups and route carcinogen is taking of course. Going to assume they think you missed the key? I didn’t check to see if any other pouch’s were missing from their spots. Also my inventory was already missing the crank. I put it just before I got the Magnum.
Also, I noticed that after you use the solution in the green house, shotgun some of the Ivy's lying on the ground before you pick up the final bracelet chip, I swear it helped clear a path for me.
I really doubt the people(considering themselves as gamer) who dislike your video. I mean you showed us the way it can be performed , but RE games are somewhat RNG. Gamer must change its course according to conditions. you might have less or more ammo at certain points than Carci . Carci has carved a perfect walkthrough by spending hours on this game. Appreciate Him. By the Way I Successfully achieved S+ Rank even though i ran out of magnum ammo even in the G3 fight but somehow managed to kill him and G5.

I managed to actually get 1.55 and I somehow had two rockets left which I used on the end Birkin in an epic finale... 👍😂
Holy sh1t. I was following your run and when I came out the STARS office during 1st visit and took two steps Mr X was there. Scared me out of my chair.
I bought the game two days ago and started the first one with Claire A on hardcore. I ended up backtracking everytime because i always didn't have enough space for key items. Also in G3 i didn't have healing items and died like 10 times trying to kill him. I really thought my run is over but after a couple more tries i finally killed him. G4 wasn't that bad, first try was kinda bad, i was out of ammo on minigun and died. Second was successful and in the end i got C in more than 11 hours. Then i checked the requirements for S and S+ and i was shocked :D Hopefully after watching your guide i'll do much better in my second playthrough of Leon B on hardcore!
Thanks for posting this video. Your strategy to get the shotgun early and using them on zombies really made the B-scenario more fun to play. Before watching your video, I was using handgun on the legs and finishing with the knife to save ammo. This is kinda boring. Now I can blast away at zombies with head shots and still have ammo to spare.

he has to be in range, is the thing. if you decap him before the escape, you have more freedom over when to throw the flash for the other 3.
That part is tough af
I just shoot all the zombies in the jail's feet off before triggering the escape sequence. It saves a ton of time.

Ikr. On my first run, I was eh toward Ada. Kinda annoying scheming person but whatever. But after I did Claire, I grew to dislike Ada. Now during the sad piano moment between Leon and Ada I always yelled, "SHOOOOT HEEER!" lol.
And there guns look the same too and they are both German pistols.

Earned a new sub! Great walkthrough mate. I managed to get an S+ rank on Leon B in 2hrs 38min. If not for my weird obsession with looking over the map and silly inventory mistakes which had me back tracking, I’m sure with your guides I can get close to the 2hr mark. I Took damage ONE time right at the start from that silly cop you pull through the shutter in A scenario too 🙄 that pissed me off lol. Was also 137 steps over the 14k limit for that record 😩😩.. Honestly, we need that. Plus, all the mysterious shit capcom put into her role should be over by now. I loved that we get to play her at RE6 but her story didn't answer anything.
Now, i really think we need 1 more game, Ada only, just maybe for us to know how she survived RE2 (i know we got Umbrella chronicles - need a remake for this too), or maybe what she was doing post-RE4. Would be so awesome

It’s amazing how Mr.X still wanders the station, even when he’s too far away from Leon to have a reason to still be loaded. Most games would just delete characters until they’re needed.

Great guide again carci! Did this on ps4 and got the s+ with 26 seconds to spare! Lol I thought the stupid eye at the end was going to take too much time and make me go over 2hrs. I saved at 1st getting to sewers main lobby, before g3, and before super tyrant.
I have been playing this for weeks now and wrote out several guides for all scenarios and speed runs netting an 'S' Ranking without looking at the internet. I'm completely geeking this, I am hooked. Totally encyclopedia Browning this game and I'm loving it. Identifying how much ammo I'm left with at the end of the game and then deciding whether it's worth going to certain locations that could harbour an non-essential item... I love working that out!
Then I find this video. No Damage, no saves, Hardcore mode and well within the time limit. Holy shit. I have never done this before, but I have liked and subscribed to you BEFORE I have even watched your video. Have you ever considered any uploads from the 90's trilogy, RE, RE2 and Nemesis? Thank you for sharing this, will enjoy watching! ^_^

Hey Carci, thank you very much for your videos, they are extremely helpful for learning the game. Out of all the scenarios in the game, I believe I have the most trouble with this one, and more specifically, I seem to be hitting a "bad" version of RPD1. Basically, whenever I clean out the East Office (following your route) and attempt to get the rest of the bullets in this hallway, that door camper cop zombie busts out into the hall. To make matters worse, there's also some other zombie appearing from beyond the Press Room. Since I have no weapon or defense items, I am forced to first force the second zombie into the Press Room and run around him, then bait the door camper zombie to walk towards the Press Room (so he spawns beyond it, from the other side of the shutter) and at the same time micro-manage the zombie I left in the Press Room (so he stays inside long enough for me to escape). While it is somewhat doable (but dangerous), it does take a bunch of time to actually get out. Has this happened to you? Maybe you prevent it by skipping some items? (The handgun bullets in the stairs, for example?)

Thanks to your guides I was able to get S+ with Hardcore on Leon A and B. Of course the "No Damage"/"No Save" was out of the question but holy hell was it one effing ride. Now I'm gonna vent blowing zombies up with the rocket launcher before attempting Claire.

I had heard this was a high quality remake..until seeing it for myself, I had no idea. Wasn't too into it when it originally came out, but now I'm interested in it.

Hey Carci! Loved this run. The only part that gave me trouble for some reason was the Organ Trail. I revised that strat a little bit. Essentially, i used the M19 to shoot the first G-Adult out of the water, waited a spit second (because he will stun you pretty well), then ran around him on Leon's right. Then, shot at the eye mass on the second G with the Lightning Hawk to cause him to stun (BUT NOT KILL HIM), ran around him, then as the slidy boi came out the pipe I hugged the left side and quickly popped the zombie with the Hawk and made it safely. To get back, I just utilized first run strats. Seemed way more consistent for me and I saved an ass load of ammo.

Fun fact, actually a cop shooting one handed WOULD hold a gun like that. Arm slightly bent in, gun canted. It brings the sights to you and helps compensate for the added recoil. The only missing detail is bringing your support hand up to your chest to aid in a stable shooting platform.
If you want to make a quick detour to extend your inventory at 36:45 walk to the desk in front of where the inventory box is in Leon A, in the main hall. There was a pouch on the desk.
This is assuming you are copying all the inventory pick ups and route carcinogen is taking of course.
Going to assume they think you missed the key? I didn’t check to see if any other pouch’s were missing from their spots. Also my inventory was already missing the crank. I put it just before I got the Magnum.

I really doubt the people(considering themselves as gamer) who dislike your video. I mean you showed us the way it can be performed , but RE games are somewhat RNG. Gamer must change its course according to conditions. you might have less or more ammo at certain points than Carci . Carci has carved a perfect walkthrough by spending hours on this game. Appreciate Him. By the Way I Successfully achieved S+ Rank even though i ran out of magnum ammo even in the G3 fight but somehow managed to kill him and G5.

You had me panicked at the going back to the police station for the magnum parts as I thought you were cutting it short, but it made everything so much easier for my play thou. I managed to actually get 1.55 and I somehow had two rockets left which I used on the end Birkin in an epic finale... 👍😂
I've noticed that if you just walk in the room to collect the tool the lickers are a lot less aggressive when you return to the hallway.
Holy sh1t. I was following your run and when I came out the STARS office during 1st visit and took two steps Mr X was there. Scared me out of my chair.
I bought the game two days ago and started the first one with Claire A on hardcore. I ended up backtracking everytime because i always didn't have enough space for key items. Also in G3 i didn't have healing items and died like 10 times trying to kill him. I really thought my run is over but after a couple more tries i finally killed him. G4 wasn't that bad, first try was kinda bad, i was out of ammo on minigun and died. Second was successful and in the end i got C in more than 11 hours. Then i checked the requirements for S and S+ and i was shocked :D Hopefully after watching your guide i'll do much better in my second playthrough of Leon B on hardcore!

Thanks for posting this video. Your strategy to get the shotgun early and using them on zombies really made the B-scenario more fun to play. Before watching your video, I was using handgun on the legs and finishing with the knife to save ammo. This is kinda boring. Now I can blast away at zombies with head shots and still have ammo to spare.
pure speedrun strats are the worst way for beginners to unlock shit
