Good review! Thanks for taking the time. I bought one from Toolstation today. I haven't tried it yet but I plan to use it when I remove my car's rear brake caliper for refurbishing. Looks like this torch is a really useful tool 👍

Thank you for commenting. It is a great bit of kit. I bought mine blind but couldn't be happier. I should have bought one years ago. I plan to do more tool reviews. Did you buy any chance watch my powder coating oven build? 🤔
Kind regards Paul from 48 Spokes

@@itsalldoable I haven't watched that but I'll have a look. The reason I watched the Vortex video, was that I was considering buying one and your video was one of the ones that helped my decision along. I tried it out today and it really does feel like a very precise and useful piece of kit.

@@fattyballaty3424That is great news. I'm really glad my video helped 👍 it makes it well worth the effort to take the footage and edit the video. BTW I enjoy the creativity side of producing videos. Plus they should help to showcase my work as a high quality powder coater once I have finished the car restoration.

I just brought a Rothenberger, but after watching this video, I wondered if I made the right choice.

Can it be used for melting bituminous felt?

@@dominicagbata5995 easily. It runs a much hotter flame than a conventional blow lamp which would be enough for what you need. It's a truly great torch and safe to use if you don't lock it on.
