    Hey folks, in this film I'll be taking you through the process of cooking a lovely and plump beef chuck joint, which I slowly roast alongside some veggies in a self-basting roasting tin. I begin by searing the beef in a frying pan in order to seal it and retain the juices inside of the joint. Then I surround it with onions, carrots, mushrooms and add herbs, spices, ginger, garlic and soy sauce onto the joint. I leave the meat to take on the flavours for two hours before I put it into the oven. I cook the meat at 160 degrees celsius for 3 hours (puting it in the oven from cold). Alongside the beef joint I cook a butternut squash and a cassava. The net result is a tender, juicy and absolutely delicious beef joint that goes very well with the accompanying veggies.
