Thank you for sharing this. I am 31 years old and I just was properly diagnosed last week. I as well, thought this was normal. As someone who excelled in school but failed to pursue education after high school due to the headaches, eye strain, and difficulty focusing, I am now looking forward to advancing my education.
I was finally diagnosed when I was 10. Other than the double vision an the headaches caused by forcing myself to see a single object. Still see double in the mornings.
Be sure to understand the influence on posture and gait! A chiropractor said, "I've never seen anyone walk like you do - but you have the handwriting of a doctor," LOL
wow, not all but many of his symptoms really sound like mine. I think I'm going to ask my eye doctor about this. I've only really went to the doctor for glasses and always hated having my eyes scrutinized because I have strabismus exotropia but I really want to see if therapy will work in helping me. I dont think (not sure) I have lazy eye amblyopia thats caused by suppression of the eye and I'm still not sure if I have depth perception or see in 3d since I never went to the movies that much. I been researching about stuff like this for a while now (google searching lol) and I think its time to take hold of my vision problems.
ITs really a curse im the only one in my family not only am i cursed with convergence insufficiency I also have astigmatism severe hyperopia. And accomodative esotropia crossing inward of the eye. Hedaches eye strain etc. ITS so horrible i hate it AFter 2 refractive surgeries i still have it.

I realized I had this at age 4 when I was talking to my mom and I thought that everyone had this, but she said it wasn’t normal.
