Demons in this game are sort of something else! You should play it. The first one. Unspoiled, with headphones. One *hell* of an experience!
This art direction is incredible. The raw, dark tribal aesthetic compliments the atmosphere perfectly.
This gave me literal hair raising chills…I can’t tell you how long it’s been since a game trailer has manifested that kind of reaction from me. Bloody hell this looks fantastic!

Frame rate stuttered and theres MAJOR downgrades from reveal inengine. Chromatic aberration and SERIOUS DoF culling has a LOT of lost detail in this image. What a joke Microsofts CG trailers are

The sound design coming from this studio is unmatched. An experience in and of itself.

To be honest while the game does look great graphically the first game was boring as hell
Graphics and Atmosphere is one thing, the way they nailed sound engineering so perfecly is beyond anything I've seen in a game before

This was more cinematic than a movie. It was basically the equivalent of a 6 minute tracking shot, which is insanely hard to pull off and takes days upon days of planning, practice, and coordination.

As noone mentioned it, with Senua living in the Orkneys and the evil giants of celtic mythology being known as formorians, this looks like an amazing celtic tie-in after the norse focus in the last one. The giant/Formorian looks a lot like the Formorians from the green knight movie as well

It definitely going to have a psychological atmosphere to it that have you feel the character motif and may this come to next gen, and previous consoles as this game along with the first one were simply a masterpiece.
idk, one of the great things in the first one was; you weren't sure what was real and what was not real.
Now, obviously, Giants are real because other see them too.
This is unreal 5 engine. This is the kind of graphics you’re really going to get with unreal 5. Yes the matrix awakens was a beautiful showcase but in real life environment nextgen are going to look more like this and this looks absolutely gorgeous.
This isn't just a testament to URE5, it's actually a testament to the calibre of the studio. When you look at the first one which wasn't running on URE5, with such a small self-funded studio, still was one of the best looking console game of last generation. Hats off to the studio here!

Near the end, the giant says, "Help Me, Senua" and you hear the voice go from large and giant sounding to more normal human sounding. So based on the first game you think this is actually a hallucination ?

3:49 when you replay it, you can tell that the giant knows Senua the first time he lays eyes on her. He even whispered her name.

The art direction is fascinating, it feels dark and maddening. In parts it reminded me a bit of Apocalypse Now and The Void, it's really cool, great work from Ninja Theory.

For those that think its not actual gameplay.. Ninja Theory is a small team and the graphics that they bestowed upon us in their first game was honestly shocking. Now that they have Microsoft backing them I'm 99% sure that the final game will look just like this. If not, then VERY close to this

Looks incredible but looks more like an interactive quicktime cutscene rather than full on gameplay. You can tell when it cuts to actual gameplay then back into a cutscene. The actual gameplay is just running/walking for two seconds then pressing a button to throw a spear. Gotta see more.
