Got a chance to try this the weekend before Valentine’s. The guy helping me said, “I can only allow you to smell it. I can’t sell it to you, but it will be out soon!” I guess it is out now.

I love PdM, and I have 21 PdM OGs, as well as multiple clones. PdM can absolutely make some banger niche frags, the two Exclusif flankers come to mind first...taking well liked niche frags perhaps with slight designer hints and taking them full blown into a niche direction. Their frags are Very Well Made. But when I find a PdM release that leans more designer than niche, Althair being a recent example, I question the price and, after sampling the OG, went for a clone first. I love this house. But, if I'm going to pay niche prices...it better be a niche frag. Looking forward to trying Perseus!
Tried it at Nordstrom today. 90% Terre D'Hermes EDT and 10% Light Blue Forever. It's good, but redundant for my collection. She is right that the skin is way different than the strip. Tester strip gives me strong grapefruit 2+ hours in. Skin is citrus and vetiver 2+ hours in.

People are always hatin’. And purely from a PDM perspective, they needed this release to round out their squad. I’m looking forward to trying this.
I can’t wait to try this. Especially because I didn’t like althair and I have been waiting for so long for a new pdm. I also like that it’s freshie cause that’s what I need more of.

just got it today the citrus definitely hits very hard for the first 5-10 mins almost to hard but after that i have no complaints at all love this so far
Will definitely get my nose on this one. Need more freshies in my spring/summer rotation.
Just cracked open my package in mail. Pretty potent on initial spray but it’s developing nicely. Looking forward to wearing in high heat!

My wife says it smells like the little tree smells in cabs… returned it. Getting Greenly. She loves it. She loves Galloway as well
The opening is similar to TDH but it’s mainly the grapefruit and vetiver combo that remind you of TDH. The dry down on this is very similar to Elysium PC but Perseus is much more musky and a bit sweet and Elysium is a bit more green and less musky. Perseus though projects and lasts way longer than Elysium. I got to say I am not very fond of the opening and the first 30-40 mins until it gets to that far dry down, that’s when the magic happens. It’s a bit more feminine leaning/ unisex than Elysium, but good nonetheless. If you don’t get to that 45 min. far dry down and don’t try it on skin, you are not really getting to know Perseus.

It was like that Dolce Gabbana Summer Love grapefruit opening, like rubbing grapefruit zest on your arm. The drydown was anticlimactic at best. Not on the same par as the rest of the PDM fragrances in my opinion.
They should have made the bottle yellow. Anything so orange just looks a bit too close to Althair to me.
Just nailed it...smells damn close to John varvatos artisan xx. Their vetiver offer.
Went to the PDM store today in Manhattan NYC… wanted to like this fragrance soooooo much.. to me you’re better off taking grapefruit and spilling it on your chest.. it smells like a grapefruit … it’s nothing spectacular at all… if you want a better citrus PDM scent.. go with SEDLEY… a great winter and fall scent is PDM ALTHAIR🤷🏾♂️

Aventus?? IDK what some people are smoking but Perseus doesn't smell like Aventus at all. People say that Perseus smells like Terre d'Hermes but I don't get that at all and I have both. I can see where people may be coming from but having both to me at least isn't redundant at all. To me it's very similar to Greenley but even then both Greenley and Perseus do their own thing.

I find it hard to be excited about any PDM now, ever since they decided to neuter all of their frags by watering them down (went from 22% concentration to 19% now), redesign the presentation (I.e. caps are mostly plastic now), and raise their prices, all in the name of increasing profits, so you’re literally getting less for more money. Basically, PDM went the way of Creed.
Parfums De Marley is a brand that's Good I never had Layton or any of the fragrances I hear good things about them
Layton is amazing. I also got a lot of other PDM samples next to it and all are great
