I've gone a pretty opposite path (sort of), as I used to be an atheist before returning to being religious. And I think this is something really important when it comes to religion - you can't call yourself a Christian just because it's your parents' religion without any internal reflection, especially when I see many such "Christians" living such two-faced, hateful lives

I realised that Christianity is a religion that hindered technology for 1000 years (dark ages) I still regularly speak to priests having fun with them talking about some bible phrases that the church does not recognise (Leviticus 11 7). Also I don't even believe In multiple gods but rather every single individual I am pretty sure we won't be sure anytime soon that we would get evidence either god exists or not (but if I had to choose i would say that God existing is more likely. I also believe in the individual powers and that an individual can change the world
