Watching his videos back (to when he was a bit more toxic to cv players), his ratio for complimenting players to reporting them currently is a bit skewed in one direction… I remember when he mass reported CV players lol.
Maybe he compliments players more during streams now?
But anyways, one small example- there was an amazing Vermont salvo a couple videos back, where his teammate called out in chat for someone to spot the cv for him, and he one shot it.

6:24 Such a nice guy in the Yamato, he got a flat broadside Ohio at ~13km, shoots the nose in Conqu at 16km+.

For him he over match every part of conq. So he can make almost same damage to nose in conq or broad side Ohio... besides yamato has horrible turret traverse especially if you run double accuracy mods. So for his case you can give benefit of doubt.
it's new edging of the mountains a lot of the mountains and hiding spots changed because it was the only way wg could fix the random stuck on invisible sand bars. had a lot to do with how the they rendered and only focused on the textures above water level .. and a good way to check is go to areas that you would get stuck at usually and you ll notice a new spot to shoot from..
I had 5 games in Ohio last week. 250k 255k 197k and 220k. All losses. 5th game was 302k and finally a win! The Ohio is an utter monster. Best BB in the game. Run 11.3km secondaries and 10% reload in secondary range and go brawl. It's still tanky as hell, has a mad reload(Halsey) , wastes DDs in range and hits like a truck.

I think my brain is wired to play DDs. Even tho I probably do double the amount of damage in a BB or even more, its not really stimulating to me, I kinda get bored.
I like the adrenaline of being always at the edge of death in a DD. That is fun for me

So silly that this gets posted today. Right now I am stuck between the Ohio and the vampire. This really helps.
If you like BBs the Ohio is hands down the best in the game.

With you on the Ohio and Vamp, both. Order I got them and no regrets. Slava came next, then Druid. Hindsight? Might have reversed these last two.
I have yet to unlock any Tier 10 in the game. I am currently grinding british DDs, German BBs (Schliefen line) and Japanese Cruisers. I like them all. I do best with the Japanese heavy cruisers for some reason, but I am currently up to: T8 British DDs, T7 German BCs and T7 Japanese Cruisers.
I approximate it will take me at least a month to grind those three lines to TierX, and doing more than three lines in parallel seems kind of counterproductive so I come to my question. I would really like to go for the American BBs after this, which line should I choose? Second, how the hell am I gonna grind the research for the Ohio or the Vampire II? How is that even possible?
Not sure if this is what you're asking or if you found your answer but first thing you need to unlock the research bureau is to have 5 lines unlocked to tier X. Once you have that then you get a notification and you will see at the bottom of those fully researched lines an option to reset them in order to grind out research points. I first learned this and thought I'd never do enough grinding to earn that much research points if any at all. I also imagined I would never want to reset and grind through that line again. I'm here watching this today because I just got enough after 3 resets to buy either the Ohio or the Vampire, and I'm here thinking on which it will be.
Thinking about this after I commented I remembered how I had been saving coal to buy one of the top tier gun dd boats. Over the coarse of that grind I encountered many of those boats in battles with the similar boats I had unlocked and could hold up vs most of them in many battles. That had me considering a different ship option by the time I had the coal to buy one of those ships, and then I ended up buying a tier IX bb instead of another gunboat dd. Now I'm here considering the same as I had saved research points for the dd but with enough to buy whichever, I'm tempted to buy the Ohio. I still play dd 85% of the time I'm in game so I think this time it's going to be the Vampire as the winner.
I personally like to run heavy AP shells on the Ohio. You do absolutely insane chunk damage and with CVs and hybrids in every game concealment isn't that useful. The short-cooldown heal helps deal with the HE spam so it kind of works out.

Ok just to report back, I am making huge progress. I estimate it will take me 2-3 more weeks to unlock the RB and I already have the free XP to get enough RB points to buy any ship in the RB. Should it be the Ohio? Is it still the best RB ship for the current meta, how do I build it? I can't make up my mind. Help me :)
Is the Ohio worth the grind if you already have Georgia or are there enough differences to justify having both?
ohio and georgia are completely different ships
ohio is much tankier, and the extra gun makes it much more consistent
georgia just goes zooooom
I have both, Yes Ohio is worth getting. They play completely differently and are honestly 2 of the best ships in the game.

Man if ONLY the japanese would't have attacked Pearl Harbor with planes we would definitely see Montana and Ohio as Superbattleships even maybe as far as the 2000s. We were SO close to build one.

I love Ohio. Recently I've been playing her specced fully for survivability, and I don't miss the secondaries at all.
Vampire II is great but Ohio delivers each and every time. Still a first pick for me :)
Lol looking at targets and not shooting :D you could do 2x demage if you shoot instead of constantly just looking at ships and picking targets :D

I live in Ohio. You can carry a pistol without a permit and run around in the nude. Great state.

Ohio's shells are too slow which makes shooting at +12 km highly inconsistent. Furthermore she lacks turtle deck of German BBs. She is a highly situational ship. Consistently strong BBs are Slava and Patrie.

I never liked any USA BB's cos of these slow shells...so will go for Slava instead of Ohio.

Say you never played Ohio without saying it. LOL
I have both Slava and Ohio. It all depends on play style. For Slava it looks consistent because in current meta you tend to remain at back and snipe. In Ohio you can do that but the turret layout and shell velocity doesn't allow you to land consistent hits. However the problem with Slava is that 406s don't give you that advantage like 457s. Also now everyone knows that Slava is not Kremlin so usually are focused down by HE spammers if you position
