Moumita I have selected "Mail" as mode of sending the transcripts while filling the application at IQAS, Can I change it now as "Electronic" Mode? My university is not sending the transcripts directly to IQAS and I wanted to send it now using true copy.

But after completing my education...i later on add my Sur name in all my I'ds like aadhar, passport,pan and driving license.
1) Now could you please tell me that should I apply the IQAS by my first name only or should I use the Sur name also. Because my certificates did not have Sur name.

Hi Sister,
By the time of applying to IQAS my name was entered in the application: Mohammed Abdul Hameed without given surname according to my passport. Then my passport is corrected with surname and given name like: Abdul Hameed Mohammed. When, I want to go for Request name change in my application it is not allowing to change my name due to application status is in "Final Review".

you don't need to send the academic request form. Only the transcripts.

Need assessment regarding what to select in transcript transmission method ( mailed, emailed, digital service and national verification). And if i select mailed then how my university will do it for me...and do i need original documents to send to university and they will Mail to iqas
First of all, check with your university about whether they send transcripts via email or not. If they do, go for it. It makes the ECA process, faster and smoother. If they don't then you can choose Truecopy and in the online form, select digital service as the transmission method.
Couriering should be last resort and advice against it because it delays the whole ECA process by at least 8 weeks.

Hi dear hope you are doing well. Tomorrow I am gonna apply for my IQAS..and I have the problem.. On my password I have only given name only no last.. Can I put given name in my iqas profile and last name as (.) last name is a mandatory one but I don't have any last name so I can put (.)

In the last name column put a dot (.) and write your name in the first name column. That's the ONLY way they accept it.

You can send the transcripts physically to truecopy and they will convert them into electronic versions.
How can i change my name... I have submitted my draft but not able to make payment because i have filled my name in last name only and now when go for make payment they asked me to enter my first name..

Madam, I sent transcripts along with documents in sealed envelope given by university and IQAS accepted and said “waiting for transcripts” than I raised query on contact us on iqas’s website & they responded in my email where I told them that my university doesn’t send electronic copies of transcripts. So I have sent in same envelope which contains mark sheets and degree copies in a sealed envelope which is directly sent by the university to IQAS. And after a week the status updated in my portal and they also sent mail that they received all required documents and transcripts and started evaluation

When I applied for IQAS - I entered my First name as "Vignesh" and Last name as "S". I made the payment and it's been a month since I sent the required documents. All my documents have "Vignesh S" as my full name. Should I request for name change and enter the last name to Vignesh S or leave it as it is? Please let me know. Thanks in advance.
If it's exactly the way it's in your passport, you need not worry. The process takes time. Have patience and don't worry.

Hi Moumita, I had chosen 'Mailed' as my transmission method. Payment though is pending. However, have now happened to come across your video and True copy option, which I checked is there amongst transmission methods as well. So supposing, I choose to send transcripts to Iqas electronically and not via courier, I need to first make the change to Digital Service and then change to Truecopy. Correct?
Also as per guidelines laid on immiboards.com/blog/truecopy, the transcript first needs to be sent to Truecopy via mail. id of Truecopy on which the University needs to send the soft copy of transcript is support@truecopy.in ?? Can you confirm?
What if my University says we are handing over the hard copy and refuse to send any mail to Truecopy? Is it Ok to only send the hard copy to Truecopy and they shall further process it?

It doesn't matter which method of transmission you chose, you can send it via truecopy. Don't worry about it.
The email id of Truecopy is correct.
You can send the sealed and stamped copy of your transcripts to Truecopy yourself. The university needn't send it directly.
Call Truecopy and tell them your situation. They're very helpful

Also query is if the University declines to send soft copy to Truecopy since they are already handing over the hard copy of transcript. I don't know, I am just thinking loud. Truecopy won't have a problem here. You mentioned guys at Truecopy are accommodating.
And lastly, Eca via electronic mode as you mentioned is faster. Correct ?

I just need help with previous names,in my case I have name change my earlier name which is on educational documents is Dilraj Deep Singh but I have changed my name last year and added my surname to the same,so how I should write my name in previous names column as last name is mandatory

If you can get your university to email the transcripts directly to IQAS through their official id, you don't need the truecopy services.

@@canadacalling4694 are you sure about this process ? As it doesn't show up in the country specific document requirement and says that it needs to be sent through Truecopy.
@@harshvardhansinghchauhan8421 it's there right on top of India's requirement list. However, post pandemic, they are also accepting emailed transcripts from the university's official id. And it cannot be an email from gmail, Yahoo, outlook, etc.

After doing the payment we also get a form which has to be filled and sent to iqas along with DMC and copy of degree certificates.Will that also go via truecopy?
That form is not mandatory post Covid. And not required at all for Truecopy

No ideally just masters. But IQAS specifically mentions that they do not asses SMU distance learning degrees. For that you should go for ICAS instead. And no when you have masters and bachelor's, you never need class 12th marksheet or assessment.

No you can't. The transcripts have to be in sealed and stamped envelope from the university. You can't even open it. It has to be sent as is. The whole point is so you don't send fake degree documents.

@@anujchaudhary488 you can send it to IQAS directly but your ECA process will take really long. If you choose to send it to truecopy, the whole process will get faster by at least two months and costs the same. So I would recommend you pick truecopy. All the best.

Yes MBA is enough. You don't need the bachelor's for evaluation. However, since there is no extra cost, you can get your bachelor's evaluated as well.
You can use truecopy and offline both but why do you want to do that?
Hi Moumita... I only use my first name in my documents so I have added the same in my last name... Do I need to inform IQAS personnels that I only have a first name?

You cannot edit a submitted application. Also, if you didn't face any issue while making the payment then there shouldn't be a problem.

You can log back into the client portal to update your name by entering one name
in each field or place a period (.) in the Last Name field.

Hi thanks for your video, I wanted know that I completed 2yrs mba distance from Annamalai University so shall I get master's equivalency from iQas and apart from that do I need to send both bachelor and masters degree. I am not sure whether Annamalai will send transcripts electronically to true copy or not is there any option apart from that?
No one guarantee you a Master's Equivalency.
But the chances are really high with IQAS.
IQAS only asks for the highest credential. But if someone wants more than one credential evaluated they don't charge extra for it. However, each credential added adds four more weeks to the processing time.
You can collect a physical sealed and stamped copy of your transcripts from the university and send them to Truecopy yourself.
Call them on 70665 86968 and explain your situation to them. They will tell you what to dom they're really helpful

Follow what's in your passport and your degree.
Middle name is not mandatory. If you don't have a first name or a last name put a dot there and put the name in the other column. For example if my name is Moumita and I do not have a last name. I will write Moumita in the first name column and put a . in the last name column. Hope this helps.

And the current processing time is about 16 weeks. Since you have two degrees, it may be a little more than that. If you had used electronic transcripts service, it would have been faster.
