Hello. Just like to check if IQAS will accept incomplete Transcript of Records as the applicant was able to finish only 4th year - 1st semester thus Diploma was not obtained. Thanks
what about the conditional status message when applying for ECA through IQAS? when i select my university it shows me the following message "Conditional Institution Status If you apply to IQAS with credentials from this institution, they may or may not be assessed." should i still go ahead? it was showing this for most regional universities

As long as you mention your file number on top of the envelope right above the IQAS address, it's fine. Post pandemic, it's okay to not include the academic request form

I had another doubt regarding Year of degree awarded. I passed from university in 2015 and received the degree in the convocation in the year 2016. So what will be the Year of Degree awarded?? 2015 or 2016?

2. University confers the degree given this day 12-Apr-2016
Which one to consider?

I have different name on my passport nd academic documents( on passport it’s Randeep singh Dhillon and on academic documents it’s Randeep Singh there is no surname on my academic documents) can you please arrange a sample of affidavit regarding name change... or just send me wording of affidavit...
Yes sure. All you need is a notary affidavit. Something like this:

I have completed my masters in arts ..do i have to send transcripts for my bachelors or only masters would do? also the name on my degree certificates bears my maiden's name whereas my passport has a different name that with my husband's name, in that case which certificate would be ideal? can we send a copy of gazette and marriage certificate.
IQAS only asks for the highest degree for evaluation. However if you want you can send your Bachelor's too. It will not cost you anything extra but will only add four additional weeks to your processing time.
You can submit your proof of name change. Marriage certificate should suffice.

You must call IQAS and confirm.

You must go with IQAS. You can send both your degrees for evaluation. Although they ask for only the highest degree. The more the degrees the more time it will take for them to do the ECA.
If time is not an issue then send both because some PNP programmes ask for bachelors degree ECA as well. Hope this helps

I am trying to apply via IQAS and have a question regarding name change part of the application.
Context - my name hasn't changed. However, my name is represented differently in my educational transcripts because my institution uses this format ' LastName FirstName FatherFirstName MotherFirstName LastName' for the candidate name field in the transcript. They also don't use any legend in the transcript to clarify this. So while my ID has my name like Sneha Parekh, my transcript has name represented like Parekh Sneha A B Parekh, where A and B are parents name.
My university wont change the name format.
How should I deal with this situation as the name in my transcript becomes diff from the name in my passport? I am conflicted about entering this discrepancy in the 'name change' part of the application, because it not a legal name change. What can I do to avoid any adverse impact of this on my application. Any suggestions?

Your transcripts need to be in sealed and stamped envelope. Truecopy will accept only that.
I have done my masters and would like to send transcripts of both bachelor's and master's. How do I send both? Do I put them both in the same envelope or different?
Different envelopes. You also have to provide your university with two different academic request forms available for download on the IQAS website. The academic request forms will be inside the respective transcripts envelope

Transcripts are always given by the university unless you have got the degree/diploma from an autonomous college. In that case, a university does not exist and the transcripts are given by the college. In your case, I am sure there is a university so you have to choose the university.
IQAS only asks for the highest credential. But if someone wants more than one credential evaluated, they don't charge extra for it. However, each credential added adds four more weeks to the processing time.

Just a small query as it takes 4 weeks longer for each credential, I prefer to send only my MBA transcripts will it cause any hinderance during express entry profile ? (like during express pool profile creation will it ask for bachelors credential evaluation according to canadian standards ?)
Hii.. I am in Canada right now and have completed my Post Grad here. I need iqas for the bachelors I completed in India. So while filling application there is a question that says "The last country of education". . What will come under that -Post grad country or bachelors??
I think it should be Canada but please call IQAS and confirm.

Just wanted to know whether it is still applicable, given the pandemic. If it is, then I may have to visit the university which is in another city. just want to clarify this, so that i can proceed accordingly.
@@nehar9299 no you can send it without the academic request form. Just make sure the university writes your file number above the IQAS address on the envelope.

I have one question , I have passed my Master in 2019 from IGNOU. They haven't issued Degree yet, however I spoke to them and they have asked me to send Mark sheet and Provisional certificate. Could u pls suggest if I can upload my Provison certificate in IQAS?

Hi, you mentioned that if the documents are in any language other than english, they will need to be translated. However, in the case of Mumbai university, the degree certificate has content in english and then the same content is present in the regional language as well. Is translation of the degree certificate required even then ?
If the situation is unclear, i can share a masked photo of how the degree certificate looks so that you understand what i am trying to ask here.
No need to share the degree. if your degree has both english and hindi on it then you do not need to attach any translation. In fact, my degree too had it both in English and Hindi. So go ahead. You don't need to upload the translation.

Write to them. It's usually not possible to get a refund but they may have some exceptions.

IQAS mentioned that Master’s degree (2-year program following a 3-year Bachelor’s degree). Generally compares to the completion of a 1-year Master’s degree.
Does it mean that I could get masters equivalency?

I got my WES credentials and they considered as bellow.
1.

Canadian Equivalency:
Bachelor's degree (three years)

Credential: Master of Science (MSc. IT) 2 YEARS course.
Major: Information Technology
Canadian Equivalency:

CANADIAN EQUIVALENCY SUMMARY:
Bachelor's degree (three years) and bachelor's degree (four years)

You should try WES first. WES is much much faster and they too do not charge extra for two degrees. Below is a link where you can find if they will offer you both degree equivalency or not.
