I'm an Anglican. This is my favorite recording of the doxology. I have sung it so many times in my life and it has given me great joy!
When I was Methodist, I sung it as a boy. I am a Roman Catholic now, and they played it once whilst I was in Mass, as the closing hymn. I couldn’t help but cry, so much nostalgia washed over me. This Hymn shall forever be apart of me.
Sir you just spoke the words right out of my mouth.
I want this song played at my funeral
Lovely. We Lutherans sing it as well. We do have doctrinal differences, but we have much more in common. Blessings to all God's children!
Indeed!!!
Amen.
If anyone at your parish sees this, please know this is my most favorite recording of the doxology i have found. Thanks yall.
You're welcome. We appreciate the kind words.
