Thanks for watching!
KC with his little trowel what a boss.
Im supposed to be working - my wife just walked in and goes 'why are you watching a man eating a sandwich?'
Nice neat work lads, only thing I’d suggest is perp your block and push it tight to the wall starter (firfix) on every course so you know that joint is full
What a team, hope we are going to see it completed Stu. 👍
Look English work perfect 👌 I love what you do is from Africa I always learning from thank you please keep do you don't know how people benefit from big thank
Makes it look so easy! Like that they are always keeping the workplace nice and clean, good quality work !!!
Es macht so Spaß deine Videos anzugucken, nach der schule möchte ich auch eine ausbildung zum Maurer machen 👍

Another great video stu.you make it look so easy thanks for the videos.
Cracking team you got there. Neat workers!
Looks like your clients look after you with butties and cake. Does Jang do all the camera work? As well as being the apprentice of course!
Cracking vid. Great to watch you all have the craic and I learnt a few things too!
KC's mastic pants, 😂 those are shocking.
Stu me llamo Andrés veo tus videos desde Valencia España, eres un maestro. Un saludo
So that's how you tie into an existing wall without cutting out brickwork , neat . How wide will your cavity be if your build timber inner
I love these videos. Reminds me of when I was doing my apprenticeship with my old man. Rather this that greedy Charlie 🤣
We do this as a living, better than office work, but me backs killing me at the moment.
I find these videos very therapeutic 👍
Hiya Stu and team, how did you know where to put your first block to start your corner pal.
I noticed you strung a line down the gable, but how do you start your corner please mate
Super joob,Salam of QAZAQSTAN,sori country ENGLAND,USA.
Hey up stu I’m a bricklayer and one of my bug bares are the dpc proud of mortar joint
It's deliberate , if concealed and when jointed the bed joint effectively bridges the dpc
That DPC looks like the slab membrane and looks like there is no mortar under it so its not bedded down not how l was taught
@@alokhan9467 how long have you been brick laying DPC never protrudes outside of the block or brick work
Best crew on Utube.
Hi Stu, like your vids. Could you explain the purpose of the spacer brick you put in at the corners if you have a minute please
Naughty naughty mixing clay with concrete come on stu
A great team.
Oh man that sarnie looks superb.
Nice work stu I find your videos very helpful I'm an apprentice on rowlands site in Worsley
Lovely work Stu 👍🏼👊🏻👏🏼👏🏼
Great teamwork 👍
The bit with the drill at 2:38 is comedy gold
are these 100 mm blocks? looking good
KC is pretty good man
Приятного аппетита дедушка))👍👍
Very happy team, lovely to see, no sniping 🥰 is Jang an apprentice stu? He seems a cracking hard, happy worker. 👏👏👏👍🇬🇧
Is KC expecting rain... With his waterproofs on
What make is the laser and can you see it when it's sunny
KC loves a tidy site , did Jang work in a 🍣 Sushi bar in his younger 😂😂years Stu , he likes the chopping action , looking good , horrible when blocks wet , makes it harder
Отличная работа, лучше не видел 👍👍👍
Need to zoom out a bit mate... Felt like watching through a magnifying glass at times 👍🏻
Hi Stu what are the best blockes to use internal and external single story extension, bearing in mind its a kitchen so will be hanging units etc thanks mate
Use my little green laser for setting out all the time, works a treat on these little jobs
Ross Male what make is your laser
@@chrissullivan2007 DeWalt mate
Ross Male Cheers mate .Can you still see it in sunlight
@@chrissullivan2007 not very clearly mate. I tend to use mine first thing in the morning or late afternoon when it's dull.
In full sunlight you'd probably get away with 3mtrs before youd lose sight of it. On a dull day it's good for over 10 metres I set joists and all sorts with it.
Ross Male ok thanks mate.Think i’ll stick with my water level and save a few quid
Be decent to see Jung on the trowel more, top lad!
How many rows of blocks can be built in one day as Iv been told no more then 4 rows high as the weight can move them ???
Cheers Stu .
Is kc gonna render this? Would love to see how u do it.
Hi, are these 100 or 140mm blocks?
Hi Stu,
Just out of interest is this a combination of too wet muck as well as the 4 inch concretes been left out in the rain and saturated?
Or was it just Jangs muck being too loose?
From experience it can get a gut wrenching feeling when you walk onto a drive with pallets of brick/block that aren't covered up and see they are soaking wet when you warned/gave notice to the customer and explained why....
Just thought i'd ask as you can see you are struggling with the blocks wanted to move in every different direction despite ya best effort.
Get Jang on the power tools so he can get a bit more confidence all in all. You could see when he was putting the wall starter screws in with the combi he wasn't knowing of the drill wanting to snap his wrist off when the screw was all the way in.
Thumbs up, you lads are never wanting for effort and knowledge.
Bravo 👍
Nice work lads 👍👍
What's the issue with wet blocks? Does it make mortar wet and mean block might sink? Asking because my blocks were wet and had a nightmare with blocks sinking, had to chuck loads of mortar on?
Hi Stu. Going to have ago at building a garage. A single garage. What concrete block would you recommend mate thanks
What blocks are you using Stu?
Nice work , what ear defenders are you using , Ive had tinnitus for the last few weeks.
Stu what is your two favorite trowels to use?
How will the block work get tied into the timber frame?
Just look at that jeans. Aren't they legendary? Any one? 👍👍
Liked it
Stu which green laser are you using?
Another great video!!! I like the idea of spacing using a brick rather than a poorly cut block but does that affect things like render on the joints between the different materials???
2:30 any reason for not toothing out the blocks?
What kind of mortar do you use?
How do I work withEven if it's for free.
👍
Jung is the best tradie in England
Funny I was fooled by bricks in block wall by seeing them in gable inner leaf, where guess it doesn't matter. I note comments below, but can't imagine any issue on a garage like this, after all it could all be made of clay bricks. Not sure of internal finish. Guess masonry paint.
I want to know about the material which is used to bonding the brick
Sand, cement, water 👍👍
The standard u.k mix for mortar is 4:1 . 4 sand to 1 cement
@@Flashbang80701 any lime there?
@@stefannevolnik6250 I think they use some Feb mix for the bricklaying mortar and use lime mortar mix for rendering. 😳
Do you earn a good amount of money in bricklaying
Wish this lot would do mine
👍👍👍
No pies in sight lol
Hallo. what are these blocks? what are they called? what is their composition? is this a living space?
4 inch concrete blocks, can find them in most builders merchants
thanks. are these blocks suitable for building residential buildings?
@@bahoodra yes
them blocks seem to just squish down to the other blocks..when laying
heavy
What’s a wet block Stu ? Mike 🇪🇸
Water soaked in, not quite sure what issue it causes.
Best team going
