Today After seeing ur Review ..just bought d 7T 2hrs back...and watching you again...😊🤗 Thanks a ton for clearing d doubts..this is absolute beast...hope I can keep it safe 🙄 (dropping mode) 😃
I'm really liking that round camera setup. Im still holding out for that in screen front cam.i hope they incorporate that in the Oneplus 8..Until then, I'll still be rocking my trusty Oneplus 3.
Not to mention the usual updates. They are fast and reliable. You would feel confident that your phone is up to date even after years. Oneplus is more than just hardware but it is carried along side the best OS out there. There is that very reason why older OP owners are still happy with old OP devices. Other brands don't even support their phones after a year so you're forced to buy a new one just to keep up.
Oxygen OS is truly the best. The customization provided makes it my favorite "skin" on top of Android. Loving the customization options especially the accent color so I can switch it every time I get bored of the stock blue. Great review 👍
I've used the OnePlus 5 for over 2 years. They've done a good job at keeping it updated. Like you said the software is great. I love the gestures for changing music. Overall this is the best looking, performing and most reliable OS I've used. I'm surprised at how few issues I've had. The previous phones I've owned were Galaxy S8, Nubia Z9, Nexus 6p, Nexus 6, Lumia 1020, Lumia 520 (Still miss Windows mobile UI)
im using oneplus 5 too , its been 2 years ,still smooth like new phones , damn love Oxygen OS ,most of the time ,it is definitely design for one hand use OS , now im using Zenfone 5z ,ZenUI still a little bit slower than oxygen OS in terms of response and smoothness , and the folder on the UI isnt suitable for one finger gesture
Some of y'all are too young to remember Go Launcher. But android is basically doing all the features they gave us back in 2010-2011. Even before Nova launcher. Go Launcher SMS is hands down still the best sms launcher of all time
Hey there Ben. Can you talk about the new colorOS 6.1 that apparently removes bloatware in the realme X2? The only reason I dislike colorOS is because of the bloat, so if it's gone I'll 100% buy it over oxygen OS. Don't care much about updates.
Hi Ben, can you help review the latest Umidigi F2? As we hardly get some review from small brand gadget but I believe there are a lot of people is waiting for it. Thanks.
I'm using my OnePlus 5T which i bought a few months ago... at 200$ so the real question is why do they release phone every year or twice a year and sometimes more.. i personally think a flagship of 2017 can last until 2020 without much issues yeah it will be one or seconds late to open apps... but still my thoughts are phones should upgrade from software twice or times a year.. hardware can last for 2 years easily.. and really imagine each phone upgrade its hardware after 2 years and the results would be dramatically amazing.
One tiny change i would like to see in the Oxygen OS, my Xiaomi phones always asked me when i turned off a repetitive alarm, if i want to turn it off only for one time (the next time when it would alarm me) or if i want to turn it off for good. That is a really useful thing, and i really miss it.
He's going to dock points! Lol I like this guy..he kept it funky. That herky jerky zoom sucks, hopefully they can fix that with software. I also heard skin tones look very saturated and red in videos, have they fixed that yet?
Its outrageous that no one is pointing out the OnePlus gallery issue in Oxygen os and 7t when you try to upload a image in WhatsApp or Instagram shows blurry tilted images...and everyone praising Oxygen os and OnePlus
I really like the circular camera set up in the centre and I think it's a good value for money but it has two big downsides for me. No headphone jack and still too narrow. I just can't cope with narrow phones. I consume a lot of media on my phone and I like it wide.
7:58 You can slide on the left side of the screen to do the same thing on the Mate 30 Pro. Try it. Same thing as in landscape. I keep hearing you say this but you CAN use Huawei's camera one handed; even lefties.
Hi, I heard of this trick a month ago. It works on the p30 pro. Not the mate 30 pro. Even still, it's weird trick (sliding on left side where no button is there). Why not just put it on the bottom?
@@bensgadgetreviews I... don't know. It's definitely not as intuitive as OxygenOS's implementation so the theme of better software stands but it's not impossible to do on Huawei's camera just sorta hidden.
I am just waiting for IP rating coming to OP phones next year and with the exception of a missing headphone jack OP phones will be fully loaded as full packages and with this software they will be just full beasts
Greetings Ben, I own a S10+ and i watch lot of Netflix when i am not busy. I was thinking of buying it but the display quality is worrying me? Is is inferior the king S10+ display?
I think the main reason that the software is so well liked is it's the only Chinese brand that targets the Western Market primarily and the software is designed with this in mind. All the other Chinese brands design their software with the absence of Google apps in mind as China is their primary market where Google is banned so there is lots of bloat

The reason flagship phones don't have 90Hz screens is that hardware decisions at big companies are made 2-3 years in advance and they prefer that companies like Oneplus to test drive the new technologies. Most customers who buy flagship devices are not tech enthusiasts and don't care much about specs so innovation is not top priority.
