Saagar is one of the biggest selective hypocrites in all of media. His entire shtick is "Trump isn't that bad" - Absolutely pathetic stuff!!
Lol the irony of this statement is hilarious 😂.
he’s just repeating the same Trump apologist bs that his supporters have been saying since 2016. It’s just cognitive dissonance
He is also the guy that said he would vote for Tucker Carlson if he ever ran for President. The dude is complete garbage. I still dont understand why she does a show with him/
It's actually worse than that, his argument here is literally "it's fine to vote for him because he won't actually do what he says he'll do"
at this point the guy is so tied up in knots he's probably a one-man human centipede
He's a hack.
Saagar is no match for Krystal. Whenever they debate he ends up getting really upset and reveals his true extreme right wing views
Fascists like Saagar crumble against anyone using facts and reason
Krystal is blue no matter who
I think that is why Krystal chose him as her partner. He is Sean Combs.
yeahhhhh you dont watch the channel...
@@markfitzpatrick7186 Allen Colmes? Or Diddy?
Saagar's political mindset is pretty simple. He thinks he's one of the "good ones" that'll be spared
So did Vivek
I just typed that as an answer under another comment. He literally thinks bcuz he's a Christian they'll spare him, he's delusional
This is all he's ever been
Absolutely. I feel it derives from growing up in College Station, TX, and i suspect he got bullied by the Black and Mexican kids which is why he harbors such vitriol for those communities. He then sought solace with the white bro podcasting world which is why he got in shape, got veneers, and married a white girl.
We call them Pick Mes
Saagar ultimately made me unsubscribe from Breaking Points, just couldn't stand his blatant hypocrisy.
It's enraging. Truly infuriating
Same, and it certainly doesn't help than 99% of their free shorts are the worst of the right wing vids
Same. I am fed up of his bad faith. I like the 3 others a lot though
That and their RUclips commenters. Saagar was smart on Rising- he’s a bum on Breaking Points.
Same here, a trump sycophant and a supporter of appeasement re putin and ukraine
Saagar says he believes Trump would be a ruthless authoritarian fascist if he could, but the guardrails will hold. Every president needs the guardrails, but any person needing them to that degree is unfit for the office. I just don't see how he can support someone he has that opinion of.
The answer is obvious: Saagar is also a fascist.
He's an idiot. The supreme court jsut made the ruling that effectively removes all the guardrails of the presidency. So aint nothing holding up if he wins. And this nation will get a whole lot worse
The answer is so obvious, Saagar is a disingenuous, deceitful person. Like most sincere Republican operatives. Saagar is quite good at seeming "rational" when you watch him, or at least he was back in 2020. I had to stop watching them though, Saagar got more and more outlandish with time.
@@aw2031zapgreat comment!
I love Krystal's intelligence and analysis most of the time but I just cannot stand the role Saagar plays on their show.
Tolerating and discussing "in good faith" a guy who clearly is acting in bad faith is enraging.
I'd much rather listen to a full-blown MAGA supporter interviewed on The Good Liars than the mendacious, duplicitous, educated white-washing of the modern GOP by people like Saagar.
That's why checks and balances are there, to prevent one branch of the government from gaining too much power over the other two!
"Republicans aren't going to try to overturn Roe v. Wade, they're just saying that."
Believe every crazy thing they say because they will do it if they can.
Republicans didn’t do that
The SC did

Exactly this
The right lunatics love Saagar and love to hate Krystal.
I can't stand him and never have. He never made a single valid point.
The comment section on their videos is a cesspool
It's so cute how Saagar thinks he's white.
I remember he was making a point about something and said he didn’t understand the focus on race but only said it because it was leading up to him saying he was marrying a white woman. After that it was okay for him to make insulting comments about people’s race and ethnicity.
He acts like it, too.
He really does.....that is until his GOP buddies ask him to hold the door and get their dry cleaning.
Nailed it. This is a virus among many people with Indian ancestry, but not exclusive to them. It’s also the fact that he grew up in TX.
The illusion some immigrants have that once you reach a certain level of socio-economic status you “belong” is the saddest thing you’ll ever see. It’s the internalization of the values of the ruling class.

I watched these two for a bit when they were at The Hill. He was not like this, this is the most blatant grifting I’ve seen in a long time.
Saagar's defense is that Trump is a pathologic liar at worst ???? These people make jokes of themselves
At one end, a pathological liar. The other end, wannabe dictator. And somewhere in the middle: Too incompetent to be good at either of the the other two.
@@tremas3329 He seemed to admit that what Trump says is bad but ultimately wont be capable of doing any of it.. either way why would you vote for someone who promises insane authoritarian shit but on the other hand is too incompetent as a leader to accomplish anything he says. This is multiple layers of terrible logic
"Trump won't be able to do those things because they're illegal" who is gonna hold him accountable then, Saagar?
The Supreme Court's very own elite militarized police force of course!
Reminds me of the time Bendejo Pepino said Republicans don't commit crimes because they're illegal
He doesn't seem to grasp the concept that Trump is a criminal with zero respect for the law.
While the Supreme Court just gave criminal immunity to the President.
Not the Supreme Court, that's for sure.
I generally like Krystal and Kyle, but I have never been a fan of them giving Saager a platform. We legitimize the far right by pretending they have views worth debating.
💯
Giving saagar a platform? They own breaking points 50/50 what do you mean. While I have many issues with his views it’s a good program to prevent everyone from living in a media bubble

Saagar showed about 100 red flags covering the George Floyd riots, the 2020 election, and the J6 riots.
I specifically remember him literally frothing at the mouth when confronted with the fact that there was institutional racism in the police force, and essentially laughing at the notion that Trump was a fascist.
Well beyond having an opposing opinion, the man was being disingenuous.
Well technically they were BLM riots, killed 29 people. Jan 6 was peaceful by that standard
Yup. I was yelling at my tv watching Rising the following mornings after J6 and in summer 2020. Krystal had a knack for calling him out and getting snarky bites in. Its like watching her tolerate her annoying little brother.

What's up with saagar constantly downplaying proven russian connected operatives? Does he roll with lauren chen?
He downplays it because it proves the “mainstream media” and US intelligence was actually somewhat correct about the threat of Russian interference in our politics.
Saagar is a fascist, and the majority of US politicians and political voices that have ties to the Russian far-right or its dictatorial government are fascists themselves, so he has a political incentive to omit or lie about those ties, because being seen as allied with the Russian government in the US is unpopular, and Saagar wants to his fascistic views to be more popular.

Then it would be like every other progressive channel..an echo chamber. The very thing that makes breaking points novel is that they have both progressive and conservative viewpoints.
I actually like it the way it is, because it allows me to keep up with what conservaties are saying without having to follow any explicitly conservative channel. These days, the show is probably the closest to a "friendly" debate that can be seen between progressives and conservatives. That being said, you can tell that Krystal really starts to lose her patience with Saagar sometimes, so I wonder how much longer it can last.
Two people with empathy? In the same studio? That might alienate too many viewers. Saagar's wardrobe requires a large income to maintain.

Saagar says hes a right-wing populist but most of us realize this just means he's a fascist.
Krystal Ball undermines her own credibility by continuing to appear alongside Saager Enjeti. Whether she intends it or not, she is legitimizing Enjeti's right-wing position by entertaining it. He's a known quantity at this point, there is no value in keeping him around to spout talking points. Sets off my grifter senses.
Pre-WW2 Saager: "I mean he SAYS he wants to kill a whole race of people but that's never happened before and these trains are really behind schedule so ⚖️🤷"
Just imagine the economic and social consequences of mass deportations. The USA would go down the toilet and be chaos.
And most of the undocumented workers are employed by conservative-owned businesses.
Personally, I am more worried about the social than the economic consequences. Yes, it would be a blow to the economy, but eventually, the market will re-adjust and settle into a new status quo. Who knows, it might even cause wages to go up because of labor shortages, similar to what happened in Europe after the Black Plague.

If she's got a contract she can't get out of she should just start confronting his crap ALL the time and stop being so indulgent so Saagar either bails or he gets pummeled every day. She's definitely smarter than him. Win/win.
“I feel for her having to deal with this crap all the time.”
Krystal Ball choose to go into business with this guy of her own volition after being let go by The Hill. Ball’s done almost more then ANYBODY to help legitimize people like Sagar Engeti and Tucker Carlson as having “populists” politics.

Some had to called out Saagar's bs. Its always coming down to it with him where he literally picks and chooses when he wants to believe a Trump threat depending on what threat he agrees with Trump on to do but not the ones that will make him look bad, he will scoff at.
Saagar's connection with Vance has really hurt his credibility with this election. Turns out he wants power and influence and isn't concerned about the truth.. Color me shocked... Do not underestimate the power of ignorant young people in a cauldron with bigoted older ones
krystal and kyle's tolerance of saagar's and joe rogan's bs without calling them out for being pieces of shit is infuriating.
I'm not a huge fan, but Kyle relatively recently acknowledged that his policy of holding fire and using his relationship with Rogan to try to persuade didn't work. I think he even called it a failure. I saw it when he did an interview with The Vanguard.
I tried to watch breaking points a few times, but I really hate Sagar
Saagar now is just mad he was doing it for free and missed out on the Tenet millions, so hes doubling down. Why Krystal still associates with him is beyond me.

Saagar is simply an entitled immigrant. Nothing wrong with that. It's just a funny turn.
He can't even make eye contact when spinning his lies - he knows it, we know it and Krystal knows it. So sick of these slimeball propagandists getting roles in the media.
It's their show. She's free to split with him but I hope she doesn't have to. Either the audience makes it known he's killing the channel, or God forbid, JD hires him if they win
Stopped watching Breaking Points when they referred to a pro-israeli getting "curb stomped" in a debate on one of their video titles - even as a pro-Palestinian I found this vile.
To quote MSNBC, Sagaar is "Dark enough to get pulled over by the police"😑
Why is it always, always, always someone else has to explain what trump meant?!
“What he meant to say…”. Bla bla bla. He said what he said. No need to make excuses for him.
Saagar believes in the cast system so that's why his ideas are so racist
You don't even know the difference between cast and caste.
@@Wijem11does it change what was said?? He full on does. He was upper middle class, went to elite schools and fast tracked in politics. He's just a sell out with some really bad ideas who has some repressed feelings from being bullied, no doubt
@@Wijem11 Hey, you don't have to be a twat. It's fully optional.
@@Wijem11 wow, so smart you are
@@EthanCarey-l4c You must be a bigger fan of Saagar than I am because I couldn't find anything about him advocating for a caste system. I did, however, find an interview where he said his parents moved here partially to escape ancient ways of thinking. Sounds like they believed in the American Dream but that's just my assumption. What do you think he meant by that?
What you said requires discernment from what is a caste and what is class where you seem to conflate the two.
Kamala Harris is from the Brahmin caste, does that make her ideas racist?
I love the look she gives him throughout the segment, like "you're so full of sh**"😂
"I just never heard that guy make any sort of good point." Put those words on Sagar Engeti's tombstone.
Small correction to something Emma says at 6:17
30 of 62 cases were dismissed _on the merits._ A very few were decided in favor of Trump/allies on small procedural stuff like cure dates. The remainder were tossed on procedural grounds like lack of specific harm, challenging too late laws that had been on the books for years, lack of standing, etc.
Saagar is the worst part of that show. He's the reason why I'm not a premium subscriber to BP.
Saagar has been bullied all his life so please forgive him.
No. Trump had a bowl of mashed potatoes dumped on his head to shut him up when he was bullying people and we are still dealing with the ramifications of that. Lol
Saagar is personal buddies with Vance, that tells you everything about the guy
Saagar being an evil little weasel?
(Shocked pikachu face)
Sagar is a fool.
Krystal is carrying Saagar so much it's embarassing at this point
You can’t rely on a “system of checks and balances” to curb the insanity of a president, if the presidential candidate you support seeks to destroy that same system of checks and balances!
Krystal has no problem platforming the guy for years. 😅😅😅
What a Lunatic.
Soccer was a kid who was stuffed in lockers. He's so smug
Lol 😂 Soccer. Good wan
He needs it again
