surprised you commented on Marks voice, I actually thought Toms voice was on point. I mean Marks is good too but I can still hear from time to time it's not Mark, Toms is very very accurate.
A few details Alex sprinkled in for us: -Mannerisms, dress, and vocals being SPOT ON for Mark and Tom, especially Mark's double harmonies at 0:24 -The Angels and Airwaves style riff/distortion at 0:12 -"Travis just follow him" JFC dude, I lost it. -A Little bit of "Down" thrown in there 1:17 -"All I yask, all I yaassk" -Switched the harmonies for Feelin This. Not sure why, but I think I like it better than Tom singing the highs. - Is there a third harmony being sung at 1:42 ? Either that, or he hit the harmonies so perfect it sounded like more voices. I can really see "If Blink covered X, but Tom didn't practice" becoming a series; it's too golden to only be a one shot! Maybe even branch it out to other bands later in the series?

I have never heard another person sound like Tom Delonge unless they're doing the voice on purpose. But I don't know, maybe all of us from around here sound like that to the rest of the country; Tom's just more obvious with it.

I can't tell you how many times musicians have said to me that you shouldn't cover a song unless you can bring something new to it, and you ABSOLUTELY KILLED IT with this. I mean, you covered one band's song while impersonating another band (and killing the impersonation) and also threw in a perfect joke. More importantly, everyone I know who has heard this fell in love with it and that's how you REALLY know you nailed a cover :)

Honestly for as great as the Tom impression is, his Mark impression is the more impressive I think. Tom has a very distinctive voice, but Mark's is a lot more average and less exaggerated, which is overall harder to mimic and he's got it spot on.

I think we are all serious about paying for an album of covers/mashups/originals in the style of. I would prepay. I like Scott more than Travis and Mark and especially his bass sound has been the reason I love blink the whole time and you kind of just get ALL of blink in one song. What IS his bass sound? High treble or something?? Again, I WOULD PREPAY.
Tom has his moments. Every now and then live he lets out some pure, transcendent gold.... But yeah there have been a lot of rough performances too, more punk than pop. His last AVA tour in 2019 was solid though!
