How Good Is The Wind Deflection ?

- I installed the Klock Werks 8 Flare windscreen a few weeks ago but never got a chance to properly test out the wind detection and the sound clarity of my Rockford Fosgate speaker system while riding at highway speeds with the new windscreen. Do I took it out and tested its effectiveness in both wind blocking and buffeting and the sound clarity.
Let me sum up the video and review - the windscreen is a keeper !

Klockwerks shield looks better than the old one too. Bassani 2into1 pipe is great. I put a full length bassani 2into1 on my roadglide, love it.

Looks like a perfect windshield height. At high speeds, you really need a Lincoln Navigator for perfect harmonics but on any M/C what you really want is motor and exhaust sound. The Bassani exhaust sounds great.
Hello sir, Advanblack is coming out with some cool lights pretty soon. A light rind that goes around the opening in the fairway above the headlight and sequential turn signal bars that go at the top of the fairway any just below the windshield
Awsome video Sandy, I was wondering about the new bags? When you got back home after that ride did you feel inside the left side bag for any heat coming from the exhaust? Or did it affect much ? Because I know there was a clearance issue on how close the bag was from the exhaust. I saw a comment that your going to change the riser and Speedo? I did change my to a 23 low rider S analog/ digital Speedo , I am glad I did you’ll will too . Great videos keep them coming . Aloha from Hawaii 🤙🏼

I have had the 8" Klock Werks on my 23 Low Rider ST for 3 months now. I'm writing this before I have watched your video. We will see if we agree or not. I do like the KW 8" a good amount. It's darn good. It's not perfect. It def kicks up the wind over my helmet. Depending upon wind direction, the sound is descent up to 70-75mph. If wind direction is favorable, I can hear it ok up to 80-85. It's very similar to my old Clearview Medium wind shield. Wind deflection is similar between both windshields. The Clearview medium was too tall for me. The KW 8" is a lot better height wise while providing similar wind deflection. The Klock Werks looks better. I had over 12,000 miles on my ClearView shield, and a 2-3 thousand miles on the Klock Werks.

To be perfectly honest if I’m on the highway I have my full face on and use a Cardo headset instead of the radio, but it’s cool to know to know because I usually do “highway speeds” on backroads

Hey dude, John from Long Island here. I just traded in my 19 ROADGLIDE 107 for a 2023 Low Rider ST. I gotta tell you that I’m disappointed with the 117 low end performance and it’s also rougher running motor than my old 107. I don’t feel this bike, which is 150lbs lights, is any faster than my 107 ROADGLIDE--I don’t get it. Otherwise, I love the bike and I went with forward controls. It handles excellent as I’m into performance riding. (Twists). Do you agree with my opinion about this motor? I would love to hear your opinion or anyone else for that matter. My buddy rides 23 ultra and has the same opinion I do. Also, having a Ninja 1000sx doesn’t help matters at all because when I go back to the Harley it actually feels slow. Bummer. Note: the front wheel really doesn’t come off the ground either. It’s as if it’s geared too tall. Oh boy!
How do you like that speedo screen? Would you get a dial when you upgrade your bars? I personally prefer a dial

Whats your opinion on the seat? Is it any more comfy than the regular step up? I'm trying to figure out if i go with the explorer or the tour.
It’s slightly wider than the normal step up and mainly better for 2 up riding ! But most important for me was the back rest

I beg to differ... my 23 lowrider st with the 3030 making 122 and 133 with my gallop 2into1 exhaust sounds pure WICKED....
How tall are you? I'm too fearful of spending money on a windshield because I've always dealt with buffeting with aftermarket windshields.

The ST with stock seat, handlebars, windshield, foot pegs, and bags must be unacceptable. No one leaves them stock. I can understand personalizing your bike, we all do it, but I've yet to see anyone's video that states the bike is good to go, straight off the showroom floor.
I left mine stock for over a year. I bet I'm not the only one and there's no need to make a video of a stock bike
@@thatasianguy4472 My point. uncomfortable and buffeting. You are the only one I know of. A video of a stock bike is called a ride review. Useful for potential buyers.
I added a two-up seat and pegs, and did a stage one (standard for all Harleys). This is my 10th Harley and my favorite (by far).
