Dim sum is quite awesome! I really like that there are a lot of different options to choose from. I know I would really enjoy the xiao long bao especially the crab-filled one!
OMG! Looks soooo yummy! I walk by the restaurant whenever I visit SF and never knew how expansive it is! Thank you for sharing. SF secret for warmer weather experience: visit in late Sept/early-mid October for HAWT SF days! (or monitor the weather for those 2-8 sporadic days of 90-101 Farenheit sizzles!
@@YellowProductions Tried Lunasia today, which was on your list of 66 best OC restaurants. As you mentioned in that vlog, Lunasia is adjacent to OC in Cerritos. It was excellent, my roommate who lived in China for 3 years said the dim sum was very authentic and reminded her of living in China. Keep up the excellent work Chris, thanks!!!
Worth a try if you've never had it. I really enjoy Dim Sum. If you have a car you can also try their original restaurant called Koi Palace in Daly City. It's near SFO airport
Another great video Chris! Just cooked up some dumplings I just got from the supermarket and saw this video so started watching 😄. They were nice but not as nice as freshly made I'm sure. PS I hope those two girls in the table behind you, stumble across your channel, so they can see themselves on RUclips 🤣
Chris, this is totally off topic, but on one of your travel Live streams you mentioned putting tea bags in your shoes. Is that used bags, or unused? I've always wondered about that whenever it was mentioned, but never felt brave enough to ask.
Folks skip that place and go to SF Chinatown, why buy a knock off when you can own an original. Place & food looked OK but certainly trendy IMHO not to mention the high prices (I can only imagine the rent). Good video 👍
I waas on a fam trip to sf and stumbled across this place bc it was near our hotel. the best surprise of our trip. the food here is sososososososo good. they forgot one of our orders until we reminded them and they more than made up for it with free dessert that was AMAZING. loved this place even after the small hiccup. the abalone dumplings and truffle noodles INSANE

Thanks Colleen!
Hi Chris. Thanks for the food review. I liked everything and like you wasn't a fan of the Black Taro Swan. Definitely a place to check out.
Thanks James! Yeah. The Black Taro Swan was cool looking..but too dry.
Going to SFC in a few weeks. Might have to make a reservation. Never tried that type of food before. 😊

hey, Chris! when is the best time to make reservations? 1 week before going in there or a day before?
thank you!
I'd say a week before.. 1 day before and there might not be any reservations available

Man, I've never seen a table that has a fish pond on it.
A first for me too!

Unused :)

OC Girl definitely has some work to do on your chopstick technique 😄
Hah! I think she's happy that I can eat with them and I don't need to ask for a fork :)
@@YellowProductions 😃
Thanks, Chris! Looks like a place I would really enjoy! 🥟 Shumai is one of my favorites too 😍
Mmmm. Shumai. Aaahh
Anytime you mention Xiao long bao (probably butchered the spelling) just makes me really want to tmgo back to taipei and din tai fung again
Mmm. And I think that's a good spelling

💯 agree. It is over hyped. I did not think they were good
Chris when Is the next live stream ?
*probably* next week on Tuesday
Awesome 👏🏻

Mmm. Glad you stumbled on this spot!
Best dim sum places are in San Jose, San Francisco is highly overpriced and overrated.
Everything in SF cost more for sure.
Anyone else go to Koi Palace in Dublin in the East Bay? Not just the worst dim sum, but the worst restaurant we've been to, ever. Disgusting service.
I haven't been to that location in Dublin. The Daly City one I think is awesome. Have you been there?
We always had good service there.
