Amazing work you 2 have done saving the little focus. I would like to have seen a few extras popping on it like fog lights and electric windows at the back but for a quick flip really have pulled it out from the scrap man's hands. Hats off to you both.

I did exactly the same ironically... an identical black 60 plate Ford Focus Zetec-S 1.6 TDCi that's belonged to our family for 8 years got written off by a careless woman in a brand new range rover. We bought it back from the insurance very cheaply and I bought a donor car, black 09 plate focus titanium for £350 with a snapped timing belt. A few days work and I had swapped the doors, bumpers, interior and steering wheel and the car looked absolutely immaculate. I Saved our focus from the scrapyard and I still feel proud.
It's a shame you aren't based in the North, I would have gladly given you the donor car with our previous interior (nothing wrong with it, the donor cars was a bit nicer) and it had a black bootlid with spoiler and trim. I did consider trying to fix the donor car engine but it had 170k miles on it and I had no idea of what damage the engine had in it.
