Thanks for mentioning the rattling…it sounds terrible and just saved me a trip to the dealer. My Durango is missing lane keep and I miss it so much I am looking for a suitable replacement. It’s built so well with no rattles and that’s one of my major complaints of most modern cars.
My 2023 3 Series is the first car i've ever owned that has zero rattles. i'm at 10k miles, and it's rock solid. It's tough to find a modern car with no rattles sadly, good luck
That would drive me crazy and I would nearly find it untenable in a new car. Got a new Impreza RS and its super stiff, rattle free chassis with a responsive powertrain, comfortable ride and great safety tech are exactly what I was looking for. Not a hot hatch but a great, flexible, daily driver. Love the looks of this Corsair but it’s a merely a very good, not compelling drive -especially for the money.
@@myemailiscool I’m not surprised but very glad to hear this! I just drove an 24 X1 with M package and it was beyond solid. I also test drove a CPO 21 X3 with 0 rattles. I can’t do German for my roadtripper…even though I want to, but a BMW 3 or 4 series will replace my WRX when out of warranty in two years. My Buick I had in 2021 (lol) didn’t rattle either! It’s part of why I’m looking at an envision for a replacement for my Durango.
@@tpolerex7282 Yes! It’s very frustrating. I will caution you that rattles in my 2022 WRX did not show until after 10k miles and some cold/hot cycles. But it’s still up there in solidity, very few rattles and only over bumps. My Durango, and my Buick Encore GX were the most rattle free car I owned, my WRX is number three. My Hyundai was meh, and I traded in my Tiguan because of them. The worst was my Focus, literally the WORST everything rattled. I
Hard clacky plastic on top of the door panel is *wild* for a $60,000 car. My $25k Chevy Malibu company car doesn’t even stoop so low as to have hard plastics on common touch points.
Reviewers need to stop with the "cheap" plastics comments. The plastic may be not attractive to you, but it's not cheap. Its durable and will last many years without cracking, breaking, and looking worn.
The Edge based MKX/Nautilus is the best Lincoln of the last 20 years. Solid powertrain, excellent ride, and nearly 70 cubic feet of cargo behind the front row. The Corsair was a letdown when I drove one. While it looked nice, the build quality was poor and it had terrible wind noise on the highway at certain yaw angles. Suspension “crashes” over slow speed bumps/broken pavement. That goes away with speed. The adaptive suspension is great at highway speeds. Taking away the physical heated/cooled seat and heated steering wheel buttons and replacing them with screen “buttons “ is a huge mistake.
Not these new Lincolns, not the same in any way shape or form from the old Lincolns, a true Lincoln. Same with Cadillac. These companies stood for something totally different compared to today.
@@whitegoodman7465in what way, not making sedans? Car manufacturers can’t survive making sedans anymore when no one except a select few want them. I think Lincoln has adapted well with these SUVs, and the Corsair seems to be a great vehicle compared to others in the class. I just wish the newly release Nautilus was built here, but it’s made in China 😢
@TheTopher The rattling and squeaking interior resonates with me as I have a ‘23 Corsair, Reserve trim. And just a few weeks ago, the brake pedal began squeaking (not the brakes themselves). Super disappointed. Had a 10-year old Subaru that was built better. And I had to have the turbo waste gate actuator replaced with only 13k miles on it. All that that to say, I can see writing on the wall with this vehicle so thinking of cutting my losses and moving on after less than two years. Any suggestions for a reliable small/midsize luxury SUV around $55k that will have superior build quality? I want something super quiet!
How do people still believe that Lincoln is a “luxury division?” This isn’t Japan people.. Lincoln has been around longer than ford and has been its own brand for generations. Where are the real car guys?
I definitely noticed ford products having poor built quality in the interiors. People still buy them and swear by them. I guess it means they won't change anything.
Compact luxury vehicles cars and crossovers offer turbo 4 cylinder at this price range. Some offer 6 cylinder (genesis) but will have less features most likely.
The 4-cylinder isn't the problem. An X3 30i makes a lot of sense, and you can get one fully loaded for less than the Corsair. Or go to the 40i and drop a few luxury items and still hit $60K, But you are correct that a CX90 is a good value, considering it is also $60K when fully loaded, and is bigger and rides on a bespoke RWD architecture.
I wish people would get over pricing. Options add lots of money to the starting price. If you don't want to pay above ATP, don't add pricey options. Good news, vehicles today come with lots of standard equipment that used to be options.
I bought a 2020 Escape hybrid with premium package for 32,000 and 0% interest. No way would I pay over $35,000 for an Escape. You just have to go for the middle trim levels and be very discerning with options.
Leased 2020 Corsair had few problems. They need to pay attention to quality and reliability. There were few rattles rattles rattles😂 and electronic issues 🎉
I had a 2017 Ford Escape and that has no interior noises at all. I was very happy with that vehicle. Just bought a 2024 Vehicle. But keeping my eye on these Lincoln Corsair. Seem like they offer allot for the price. At the right time of year, can get a good deal.
Shame it rattles so much. A sure sign that it isn't screwed together very well. It will have lots of issues down the line. Lincoln isn't up to Lexus standards yet.
Lincoln's have always been on top with true luxury vehicles. One of the few American brands that I've always loved for some reason. I remember growing up when the Lincoln Navigator was introduced, I thought that suv was a spaceship, it was the fanciest suv I saw as a kid lol.
Lincoln needs to do a total redo of this thing. Rattles are unacceptable at $60k, as is cheap hard plastics on the upper door panels. The Genesis GV70 craps all over this thing.
Such a boring ass dash. The infotainment screen is nice. The piano shifter just as dumb as GM’s push button. The gauges alone would make me reconsider buying. Unless you can set them up different ways. As always, good review!
$60k for a Lincoln so absurd. The German rivals are much better to drive and have nicer interiors. I’d probably just save $20k and get an Escape Titanium.
Lincoln will never be recognized as a real luxury/premium brand. Decades of badge-engineered Fords, bland styling, and of course Ford inspired cheap looking plastic interiors. With all the better/cheaper alternatives who would want this other than fanboys?

I love the color!!
