@rlgdestroyu The mid 90s vintage TA cars, like this one, make between 600 and 700bhp. We had our 310ci motor in the car this weekend, and it makes 615bhp. This car's 348ci motor makes right around 700bhp. Some of the newer SCCA GT1/TA cars have NASCAR Cup motors and can make 850+bhp!!!
Im assuming the two mustangs on the track are Brian Simo and Tommy Kendall's old cars. My dad raced with them in the Trans Am series back in the day. Glad to see they were not put to rest
@dreamakerkid It's a 1993 Riley & Scott chassis with 1994 Mustang bodywork. This was actually driven by Michael Dingman and then a test car for Roush driven by Kendall.
'Bout time we saw some more videos!! What place did you finish? Im guessing 1st or 2nd - because that Mustang that looks like Mark Martin's old '90s Ford NASCAR race car (paint-wise) kinda disappered. xD Hopefully more to come!! =D
@rtrestorations We get some good cars up here(had williams fw07's and the like one year)but vintage racing really needs a swift kick in the azz in Canaduh!!
So in 2010 Tommy Kendall's All Sport Mustang, Brian Simo's Valvoline Mustang, Larry Schumacher's 993 GT2, and Buddy Cisar's Camaro all show up to the party but in 2011 the fastest car out there was the Hazardous 996 that you all dusted off lap 1? Did none of these fast cars come back the next year?
It creates a howling sound most likely due to straight-cut gears as opposed to helical-cut gears (which are more common in road cars), if I'm right.

How all auto racing should be viewed and heard! great driving!
Believe it or not, that's not a supercharger...it's the clutchless transmission. For some reason it creates a howling sound. Sounds pretty sweet!

@rickschade The Hold Steady is the band. Song is "Slapped Actress".
Nice drive - that's a sweet running 'Stang!
@B0SSNINE He finished 5th overall, 2nd in class. More vids to come!!!
@dreamakerkid Very cool. One of our guys considered buying that car a few years back. It's an early 90s Weaver chassis if I recall?
I like your fast forward action at the end!
Great stuff... Tommy Kendall's old car?

absolute music to my ears...listen to that steed wail...
@rtrestorations Whoa. That makes for one wild ride. Question who builds your motors??
its making a whining sound like a supercharger because its a race trans with straight cut gears instead of helical which quiet the sound
What's the little blue cartoon-looking car you pass at 5:20 ? Big wing really SWOOPY sides.
Its because they are straight cut gears, not helically cut like most transmissions..
@rlgdestroyu We work with Motor Masters out of Hartford, WI.
like the jerico in the beginning of the video

Excellent!
How do I get into professional road racing like this?
Tommy won 12 out or 14 Races with this bad boy! I am impressed this car is the best!!!
@dreamakerkid That's awesome! Which car?
Straight cut gears?
@5spdstang Maybe someday...that'd be a great historic track to run at!!!

@teasemeagain 348cid small block. 700bhp.
Just because they are straight cut gear instead of most cars are helically cut.. Like an old muncie rock crusher...
Pleeeeeeease bring your toys to the Mosport vintage festival!!!!!
vearry good job
you are 100% right
@rlgdestroyu Sorry, deleted your message by mistake.

Its a morgan v8
Looks like a Morgan.
THIS IS MY MUSIC!!!!!!!
just listen to that V8 and that turbo...
I helped take the hood off and put it back on this car... my claim to fame... lol
driver is a good driver but he could have pushed through the corners better and the straights he let off the gas to much
What's wrong with Porsche
straight cut gears, very noisy
@dreamakerkid fuk u
Porsche sucks
