I actually wish someone would make a lttp based game with a mix of stuff from ocarina of time, majoras mask and twilight princess with a few fanmade stuff.
Just don't let Nintendo see. Knowing how they are..
Loeder and some of the 16-bit versions of Zelda 2 music they have made would fit in as well.
I believe some folks tried, but Nintendo struck it down
why always link to the past minish cap needs more love. Dont get me wrong though this track is very good but there is waaaaay to many link to the past mods out there.
@@HappySlapComedyProbably because A Link to the Past was a console title.
Echoes of Wisdom seems like it will be that.
I would actually pay money to play ocarina of time completely remade with link to the past sounds and graphics. Sure it would technically be a "downgrade" and a lot of stuff would probably be different to make it work in 2D, but I still think it'd be cool as heck.
There actually is (or at least was) a Oot 2d fan game that set out to do that. They may have gotten shut down by Nintendo, but I'll go check.
Michael Fellner lol.
OOT2D IS STILL UP! CHECK THE SITE!
Hopefully we can have its LTTP engine
There were actually people trying this... Never finished AFAIK. Oh well
This is pretty awesome. Also, I wish I could like it a second time for the Smooth McGroove reference.
Ah, so people do read the description!
if you search "i buttered it up up" on youtube, this is the second result
haha, that's awesome
***** well, I have no intention of leaving any time soon
Wizard Jesus is the first result

awesome 16 bit rendition of gerudo valley. give yourself a medal
Breath of the wild would have been so much better with some tunes like this.....
You know they have dungeon and village themes like this right?
Too much ambient music, I love the game but I think a few more music tracks would help
@@crisisboy5822 I hate the game, but agree with you
I can't describe how good this is.
moar pls
more on the way
+Jamazon I think a kick-ass song for this SNES remix would be the Twilight Princess theme
+Giovanni Asaro sure, I'd love to do that
I miss when games would use sampled instruments like this. They really gave each title a distinct sound identity. The fact this is immediately identifiable as a Link to the Past, despite the song itself speaks volumes. It's cool that games can use actual recorded music these days but they've become a hell of a lot more generic sounding as a result
It would've been awesome if gerudo valley was in alttp. You could talk to the residents of the tribe and learn about ganondorf, and how he became the evil king of darkness. It probably could've been implemented in the desert area with the second dungeon
Well, the desert existed, and thieves existed. Just no Gerudo, yet.
I think the desert section in alttp was a prototype to Gerudo valley.
Well now we're getting Gerudo Town in this VERSION of Hyrule at least
Brilliant!
MAKE MORE!!(Saria's Song?)
Thanks! Also, good idea, I might do that
How?!?!? How do you make these sound *SO* Official?!?!?!?
Hi , your remix is awesome! Can I use it in my Zelda fangames? You will be credited of course.
Sure, go ahead! Feel free to download it from my SoundCloud page
Fantastic Remix! What about another one with Windmill Hut Theme (Song of Storms)? Thanks!
4/10 Dosen't have enough I buttered it up, up
Does the desert side of Hyrule in link to the past have anything to do with Gerudo Valley?
Got recomended 5 years later
...Wow.... just wow... you deserve a medal for this man.
Ah, I love this! I could listen to it so many times over. And I love that Smooth McGroove reference.
This is 🔥! We should collab on a remix!
It's been decades since I played this game 🎮 was there a Gerudo Valley 🌄❓
I prefer this over the n64
Yo, great remix!
If ya take requests, maybe you should try Termina Field next time c:

I've been trying to remake Gerudo Valley so long to where I know exactly what MIDI you used in this, haha
It would truly be EPIC if this song would actually be in ALttP.
trumpets are barely there unlike the original :( Good music tho
Amazing! I love it!
One of my favorite game songs of all time, remixed into one of my favorite games of all time. Amazing.

I buttered it up up
Not guitars not enough love :/
The super nintendo had 8 monophonic midi channels and a max of 4 instruments including drums.
Generally it's divided 2 monophonic channels per instrument. At one point, I heard drums, synth strings (rhythm), synth strings (melody), tuba, and brass harmony at the same time. That right there is already beyond the super nintendo's capabilities.
You went on to add a synth trumpet later
Maybe I'm just a nerd, but when I'm listening to an SNES remix, I want it to be something the console could actually handle... not just using the midi instruments of back then with the unlimited midi capacity of today.
Where would one obtain the sound font used on this work of art
got em all from here: www.williamkage.com/snes_soundfonts/
10 stars!
