- In this video we have a go at removing the air vents on the dashboard of our Land Rover Freelander 2. As you will see we break one in our attempt but we sort of fine tune the process. Tis video will also help if you want to remove the interior windscreen A Pillar trims.

Your wonderful video enabled me to get rid of a rattle that has been annoying me for years! Turns out one of the side clips on the air vent part was loose as it doesn't make contact with anything and therefore is totally unnecessary. I removed it and no more rattle. Thank you so much guys.

Just the job. Many thanks for your videos, been so much help as I am upgrading factory stereo. Now can happily feed handsfree mic and DAB antenna to correct locations. ps. always leave the "how NOT to" in and they ensure we don't make the same mistakes.

Ive got a problem with my air vent and thats the small conecting rod for the defuser is missing, where could I get another one as I dont want to buy a new vent.
are you able to remove the central ones this easily?
Would i need to remove the full dash to get to the blower motor.?

We went on a Land Rover experience day - book one when all this crazy virus stuff is over... we got to drive all the cars and the Freelander 2 although was not the best was the one at all the staff agreed was the one that did better than expected and actually was really good offroad !

@@lr-freelander2806 Ive just bought some 3d printed replacement vent adjusters after 3 have broken. They were from a company called Printed by Printed, pack of 5 of them for £30, I just got the plain black ones and you wouldnt know they`re there www.printedbyprinted.co.uk/products/land-rover-freelander-2-2006-2014-dash-vent-slider-adjuster-pack-of-5
