Nice video this give me a better idea but I still have questions. My Toyota came with JBL speakers from factory as well as an amp but since I installed an aftermarket head unit, the power of the speakers decreased and they are not longer as powerful as they used to, what can I do?
Good stuff I tried to do this with my vehicle but I’m not getting any sound at all not even clicking. I noticed the rcas coming off the back of the radio is causing a lot of interference any solution for that?
Hey bro love your videos! But I need some help .. I’m putting stars in my car this weekend and I plan to fuse tap it to the cigarette lighter fuse .. now what extra wire would I need to clamp to the cigarette lighter when I cut it ?
I'm looking for help with installing an aftermarket radio in my 2006 Cadillac Escalade ESV. I followed the instructions on the wire harness interface, which said I needed to bypass the factory amp. So, I used a bypass harness that connects to the factory amp output, and I matched up all the wiring colors to the harness interface. The radio powers on, but I’m getting no sound. I'm sure I missed something, but I can't figure out what. I also saw a few videos suggesting I should splice the power antenna wire into the red ignition wire, and that would fix it. But even after doing that, there’s still no sound. For context, the speakers worked with the old radio, although the sound would cut out periodically for no apparent reason (sometimes for extended periods). This issue is why I wanted to replace the radio in the first place. Any advice on what I might be missing?

Do you know how to use a multi meter. Serious question. That would help you find where and why the power isn't working.

Great stuff!
Thanks💪🏾💪🏾
I got a 2011 Grand Cherokee. How the heck do you do this process on this model and make?
It's pretty much the same as long as you know if your speaker wires are behind the radio or if you have a factory amp
How can I bypass my factory amp on a 2007 Pontiac Trent
On a F150 eco-boost I need to see the installment on the stereo without a wires or exotic cord
Ool...
