When you switch to regular slow motion, it records 480 fps automatically, but it is HD, not 4k. Pro Video mode only allows you to capture 120-240fps in full hd mode for my s23U.
@orni1976 Oh yeah, I just checked from the gsm arena, and dxomark both says it captures 240 fps interpolates to 480fps and 960fps. My bad, sorry for misinformed you. But weirdly, Samsung Galaxy s10 can record real 960fps. But they stopped using that sensor for some reason.
No additional lens is installed. It is just straight from the s22 camera. Btw, for super slow motion, Galaxy phones are using the main high-resolution camera. Other cameras such as telephoto or super wide angle are not capable of getting this much frame per second
@Copyright Test @Copyright Test There is an app that can record 10 to 12bit is Motioncamp App if you are using android. The Motioncam app allows you to capture 10 to 12bit Raw video depending on the phone model. The only thing is the size of the videos, they take lots of space, and it takes extra time to get the video bc it basically records raw images 24 and 30fps, so you have to bring the frames together by rendering it. On the other hand, Filmic Pro is more user-friendly, and the process is easier than the Motioncam App. I actually made a video you can find on my channel about Motioncam App.

@@kitchenraw Wow,this is awesome. I have several questions. Is there any video spec difference from any of the models you listed in the description? and what camera does it use if recording in 480fps?
@@randallthescandall8327 The ones I listed record same as s22. It uses the main camera and there are two slow motion modes, one is 480fps at 1920x1080p and the other is 960fps at 1280x720p. I also use gsmarena.com to check specific phone models and their camera capabilities. I also know that Huawei and Xiaomi's flagship phones can interpolate 7000fps with full hd.
@@kitchenraw The resolution is obviously better on newer sensors but it's pretty disappointing because S9/Note 9 could do real 960fps at 0.2s (with the option to use 480fps interpolated for 0.4s duration). I just got the S23 Ultra and didn't see this option for duration. It might work better for some uses but it looked awful filming hail/rain today.
This was beautiful, the music with the monochrome. Pure art.
Thanks
I didn't know the s22 could record 480fps videos. I don't even see it in the specs. How did you set it up?

@@kitchenraw yes, shame on Samsung... S23 is the same :( my next phone will be Xiaomi 13. It has real 480fps.
Thank you!
@orni1976 Xiaomi phones are in my dream list, too, especially after collaborating with German giant Leica.
Are you using 3rd party lens? Or it is just pure s22 camera lens?

Can i zoom in while recording in the slow motion mode ... i hope if this feature is possible
Unfortunately, no. Only one camera can record high fps, which is the main camera.
@kitchenraw thnx for answering me 🌹

Only one second @960 fps

Can s22 shoot 1080p slow motion at 240fps or not
Yes, they can

Obrigado amigo!
Are you kidding me!? ive been out here interpolating 240p to 960 using software and today i learn that samsung can do this in camera.
Yeah! It works pretty fast too. I think Samsung get 480fps and interpolates to 960fps.
